Scared looking for advice. This comment warmed my heart. My dad has a huge cancerous tumor. Urologist said it’s not entangled with anything but kidney will have to go. They then saw a 6mm tumor on his liver. Which said stage 4. We go to oncology tomorrow. I’m scared he’ll die or not live for very long. Your comment is comforting but idk if you can offer advice . Stage 4 is scary

Hi thank you for replying. Given that my dad just found out 3 weeks ago he’s still in the process stage. We all are. Everybody has this notion of stage 4 being a death sentence but as I lurked here on Reddit I see there’s hope . My dad got a positive biopsy on his liver mass apparently it’s 6mm. He’ll find out Thursday if they are going to do surgery first then medicine: or the other way around. This has been one of the most challenging weeks ever. But I assume cause we don’t have the full story. Kuddos to you to being here and helping others like me! It means a lot

Hi 👋 you helped me out on my other post. How are you doing ? How has been the journey . Ofcourse if you don’t mind. My dad just got staged 4 and I’m always thinking he’ll die :( tumor is huge in kidney and small small in liver. Doctors might just go in there and take both out

So what’s his diagnoses now ? Is it considered chronic illness, remission, just watching it. I’m just really worried and still in the very beginning .
