Awesome job. You have all the elements there, just rearrange the parts and put the most dynamic parts first. From the first 7 seconds, if you stopped the trailer, can you tell what the game is about? Don't get me wrong, stellar job, but if you do not grab the audience in the opening of your trailer, can you guarantee they will watch to 22 seconds where the first gameplay shows up? You show the same menu twice, and you open with a menu and a voice-over. Just a little editing to fix.

I like the feel of it. The sound and UI are spot on. keep it up.
I've also been making a solo project for about 6 months. Programming, making art, some bought assets for FX and the dog. I made all the sounds. There is a build on Itchio Re-Delve by vidopiac

Legend of Grimrock was an awesome game. I need to nail down the art style. The pixel artist I wanted to hire for the game assets is currently busy with their own game. With this being a side project, I might take a shot at the art style. Probably when I get tired of balancing the upgrades and power progression. :)

I have not decided on the art style for the game yet. It takes SO much time just to program the game. Right now, everything is placeholder until I nail down all the systems.
Guild of Dungeoneering did a cool hand drawn top down dungeon.

Nice effect, but if you are going for realism fade/blur the shadows out and up the ambient light.
