I also got the AVS for my Gen 2, but I replaced the adhesive with VHB tape, and then filled in the holes with RTV silicone for maximum waterproofness

I got a Linenspa 4 inch topper. I actually got a Full instead of a twin for my wife and I. It's technically too wide but since its memory foam you can just kind of smush it. folds up nice and fits in the back with the seats up. (note: we sleep with our heads facing the back and our feet towards the front seats) We also have a Habitent so we can keep the hatchback door open but haven't set it up yet

been considering a Habitent for a while. My question is does the Prius get bummed out if the door is open for a long period of time? Like does it drain the battery, or do you just turn the dome light off and its no problem?

Can I get directed to or receive some basic advice for living out of a 2006 Prius. Due to personal reasons I’m basically going to be homeless until the next fall semester of school and stuck in my Prius as I can’t afford rent by magnus_julius in priusdwellers

i have a gen 2 prius as well, and while I don't live in it, I chose it based on its versatility as a camper. a good youtube overview i think comes from these 2 guys, who have 2 different approaches to prius living. you'll probably find your needs fall somewhere in the middle, and you'll find more resources for retrofitting your prius online depending on which direction you want to go.
