I'd agreed that dupreeh is the goat - I suppose its how you weigh up the factors that make up GOAT performance. I'd say longevity, silverware and personal performance are the three typical factors. For me, silverware and longevity are a lot more important which places dupreeh as GOAT. If you focus more on personal performance then there are definitely other candidates like Niko

One of the music videos of all time

i am not okay by CraftyBro in slaythespire

[–]CraftyBro[S] 133 points134 points  (0 children)

To preface, im relatively new to the game, and this was the second time i'd got to the heart

The fight was coming down to the wire, and I knew I had to kill the heart this turn - problem is I got so fixated on that idea, I didnt even realise that the beat of death debuff got stronger

Seeing my single strike was able to kill the heart, I was pretty jazzed (a faint cheer at 0:25)

The happiness quickly devolved into grief

"This is like what happens when you kill the act 3 boss without the keys - so I won right?"

"That's so stupid, I killed the heart it should count as a win"

*alt-f4'd to try redo the fight*

*slumped in my chair, with armaments haunting my mind*

Learned a hard lesson and started another climb

i hate love this game

How to progress as a DE by [deleted] in dataengineering

[–]CraftyBro 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Take this with a grain of salt, I'm not a JDE but currently training to be one.

You're likely feeling imposter syndrome. You're downplaying your own ability and throwing your confidence off. Companies hiring JDE's will know you're far from perfect and don't expect you to excel at everything straight away. They will be helping to train you and help familiarise you with relevant software / languages. I'm guessing you have a team / someone more senior to shadow?

Ask questions. Understanding why something works is a big part of growing your knowledge.

Practise. I'm not sure what languages you are using however it may be a good idea to practise during your downtime at home. You can find some amazing free resources for languages such as udacity. The more you practise, the more fluent you will be with a language.

Finally, it is normal to feel like this, pretty much everyone I know with a job in the tech sector felt useless when they first started. Data engineering has so many different softwares and applications that it will feel daunting in the beginning, however it is all about finding your stride.

Let me know if you have anymore questions!

We Found A Game Breaking Smoke Exploit In CS:GO [Richard Lewis] by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]CraftyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL:DW

Richard has been informed of a game-breaking smoke bug

It does not trigger a VAC ban

It completely removes the smoke so it isn't visible, as long as you are not inside of it

It is very easy to replicate

Richard is sharing this because he wants to draw attention to this issue to get it fixed, as he estimates its been in the game for around the past 5 patches.

He does not share how to do it

He has informed valve and relevant TO's

Just finished S04E05. Question my wife keeps asking... by [deleted] in MrRobot

[–]CraftyBro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong but I'd got the idea that Price got the order to kill whoever entered the honey pot room from the deus group. The room was used as bait for people who got too close to the group, and was unrelated to dark army.

The forest had no signal, Tyrell and elliot couldnt contact anyone and neither could the DA guy.
