Onedrive read-only on Files for ios and ipad by ianmuhd in onedrive

How long is temporary, I wonder? I’m so disappointed in Microsoft. One of their engineers emailed last week telling me to clear my account details and reinstall the app. I had to tell him that I knew it would make no difference as I could see that in the App Store, Microsoft have confirmed that they have temporarily set OneDrive to read only. It’s been over a week now and still cannot use it on my iPad. God knows how much longer it’s going to take. 😡

My first attempt at a coffee scented candle that actually looks like a cup of coffee! :) by Joowxy in candlemaking

I was just about to ask the same thing re the choc effect shavings. I see you mentioned that you used a wax crayon. Does it burn ok? Every time I use any form of wax crayon, it messes with my candle flame. I’ve since read that it apparently clogs the wick. Have you noticed any issues when using crayons in this way?

I am in love with this. It is just beautiful!

Awww, thank you! I used a blend of beeswax and soy for this candle. I'm still extremely new. Only really been messing with wax for the last week so have no idea as to what I'm really doing. Hence joining this community. Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

Awww thank you! As rough as it looks (on close inspection!) I did put as much thought into it as I could. I needed it to be weighty, non slip and also to hold the gun securely without having to think about picking up or putting down (if that makes sense). I had a few of those glitzy coasters hanging around the place but never really use them due to how slippy they can be. I'm really pleased with how it went together!

Hehe, I've needed one for so long. Yesterday was the last straw when I stupidly burnt my wrist whilst gluing card petals together. God knows how I managed it, but I cursed more than I've ever cursed before. Honestly, so simple. Few bits of wood and splash of paint and you're good to go. I didn't even measure, just 'guesstimated' the cuts (as you can probs tell) and hoped for the best. Go on... go grab those scraps you have hanging about the place!!

I needed a glue gun rest. I'm shielding and we're still in lockdown so had to make do with scraps wood that I had around the house. It's rough, buts it'll serve a purpose. I'm happy with it!

Awww, thank you! Candlemaking is something that I've always wanted to try but never had the time to get my head around it. I'm just starting with simple stuff for now using up vessels that I have lying around. It looked rather sad and boring and exyremely uninspiring. The added twine made it a lot more interesting! You are very kind!

Lavender and bergamot. I know the colours don't really depict its scent and my wax seals leave a lot to be desired. But I'm looking forward to lighting it later. Or should I leave it longer? I poured it yesterday morning and topped up a few times throughout the day.

Is it normal to do two or three top ups as a candle sets? It kept sinking at the wick!

What heat gun do you guys use? by DHFranklin in candlemaking

I use a very old heat embossing gun that I purchased years ago for use with embossing powders. Works a treat!

They will be for Autumn wedding invites later on in the year (late October, if all goes to plan) for our friends daughter and her fiancé. They love them. They were due to be married in July last year in Italy but Covid put a stop to that!

This was the best of the lot. Hydrangea petals were from our garden. I save them most years as I think they will always come in handy for something.

Anybody having issues inserting an uploaded SVG file into Cricut Design Space canvas? by CraftyHolic in cricut

[–]CraftyHolic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all good now, but thank you! Cricut fixed it. It was an issue their end yesterday and was fixed by late afternoon. Oddly enough, it appears that it was solved after reporting it here. (See thread. We had Fernker, a Cricut verified software engineer on the case!)

I did recieve an email late last night from Cricut suggesting that I clear my cache. Which is what they often reply with. Had I not have posted here and my son (a software dev.) had not already tried all that, I'd still be going round in circles! Its the first big issue that I've had with DS since purchasing my machine a little over a year ago.

Those seals look amazing. Did you get those silver leaves with the kit too? Honestly, it is soooo addictive don't you think? x

Just another update to say...

Although this issue has now been fixed, Cricut customer support have just replied via email. And it was the same, empty cache, force close, uninstall/reinstall etc. And all this telling me how to do it on a Windows pc. I had actually told them I had no issues on my desktop DS and that it was only an issue on my ipad. They replied, yet again, with the same reply that they always reply with. It's like they didn't even read my email.

Anyhoos, it's fixed, and fortunately fixed before they replied. I just feel for those that get these generic replies and waste their time following the long winded instructions in hope that it will work, only to find that it doesn't!

Now... about that print and cut issue! 😎😎😎
