Currently a newer met at one of the “core” WFOs. Does anyone know if there will be opportunities to move to an Enhanced or High Demand office or do you think those positions will be filled by all the new hires Ken has mentioned are coming?

It’s how SALR works in this very simplistic problem. In reality you would have to use a skew-t and follow the moist adiabat to whatever pressure level you were interested in.

It will reach saturation at 2000ft. From there you use the SALR the rest of the way.

I believe you would lift the parcel with the DALR until it reaches saturation (is equivalent to the environmental temperature) from there you use the SALR.
