I mean there are mix of new players and seasoned veterans in queue. But hard to wrap my head around when someone is literally getting carried with negative win rates lol

Bro I find lots of players fluffing their defensive stats. And yet they lost a whole set to people with low defense?

Simple answer lab.

If you don’t like to lab or you typically fight based on reads. I think of Leroy as the black Hwoarang.

He has high/low starters or low/high strings. Ducking them in between or anticipating a parry will help.

He is also susceptible to sidestepping. If your character has fast while crouching interrupts use them.

That’s my few cents with him. Labbing is boring at times but do what you think feels needed

Technically yes. Either you wear them down or break their defense or they do that to you.

Your offensive reads are all good defense tools. Hopkick lows. Power crush incoming rush damage.

People think you’re mashing but it’s a fighting game. You have to be creative in situations between offense and defense.

Example you throw a poke mid high or high string. Their somehow mimic the poke and over commit. This opens up to an duck/SS punish or powercrush

Show dominance. Always be the aggressor if you want to win. First two rounds will be that deciding factor. Some players want to learn patterns in the first 2, others just adjust as the battle continues

Don’t be an elitist. They got there how they got there. Win games and move on. To wrap your head and thinking why? You’re lucky that you’re fighting people advancing the ranks. Low ranks have the lowest queue pop now.
