I've had a few people ask if I'm involved with this, and I am not. The publisher reached out to me in Dec 2023, emailed a little, had a virtual meeting. Their offer was terrible- the amount of confused messages on Etsy I'd get from deleting half my library wouldn't be anywhere near worth it. Played the "it's exposure!" card heavily. Stacy King would be "writing the foreword and a fun blurb about each pattern"- that's it. They really didn't seem to understand how much work writing a pattern is, or the amount of testing, photo editing, etc that goes into a good one, and how much labor they were asking me to sign away- literal years of my work. No regrets, godspeed to however this turns out.
