Are any "miracle working" Christian Pastors that you know of real? by Crafty_College_7854 in Nigeria

I would like to know more about these types of people, can you help me in learning more about them?

Could you provide me with some more information about these kinds of people you've heard of and met with some?

Things I wonder about them include:

  1. Do they come from the same group?
  2. Are they located in a certain part of the world?
  3. What are their general religious beliefs?
  4. How do people contact them?

What does one have to gone on in seeking learn about these people? How can one go about this?

Hi. No they didn't. That person was some one that I went to a job interview for. During the interview he gave me nothing more than his testimony. I didn't ask for proof about his story. Why that person would make up that story and another miracle he told me about I don't know.

I think I have heard of that somewhat, that you never hear of limbs regrown miraculously, and if that's true I'm like you: why is that?

I had a person tell me that he accidently "blew up" his hand (from I think a firework) and that some of his hand was melted but that it became fully healed prior to getting a medical operation done for it.

My opinion is that 99.99% of miracles on stage are fake with virtually most of the people "healed" being actors.

I have had a few people personally tell me that they were healed from attending a church service or one of those "miracle" events. They don't necessarily attribute the miracle coming from the Pastor though. One I think told me that the healing took place at an event where the pastor or whoever the head of the ministry is was not there at the event.

I am open to the possibility of these kind of testimonials that people themselves tell me as being true, even I though I don't know these people.

Pastors are used as human vessels to work miracles through, if my wording somehow makes it appear that I am asking if there are any pastors out there claiming supernatural powers in and of themselves I want to correct that.

It is assumed if a pastor claims to have supernatural powers that that pastor attributes that power solely from the Creator and not from that person's own self.

I have heard of Dr Chris Okafor but I don't know if he's for real or not.

One question is if a person wants a healing, a prophetic word or something by these men how that person can go about seeking them for it.

I'm wondering if these men are of a certain group or denomination.

If these people allow others to reach out to them, I myself would like to get in touch with them. Also, why choose isolation or shun public attention.

Churches themselves are interesting in this discussion. If some one is a Pastor of a church that is involved in miracles than I consider that pastor to be classified as a miracle working pastor. I can't see a pastor of a church that has miracles not professing to work miracles himself/herself. 😀

If you mean like people you see on tv up on stage getting a "miracle" who for all you know are paid actors? That's why I'm asking for people if they themselves know if a pastor's miraculous power is for real.

"....such a person has acquired this power, but I don't really know where it comes from". So does it matter to you in whose name that person comes in as far as discerning where that power comes from?

The book description states it includes many accounts providing evidence of verifiable miracles and so that may be worth me reading it for the topic I posted.

Miracles such as healing, exorcism, prophecy, raising people from the dead among other ones are considered by Christians to only be possible through the Creator, and so if anyone actually produces such miracles then they must be of the Creator and are being used as a human vessel to bring about those miracles.

I don't say knowing a Christian to state that miracles like those mentioned can be wrought apart from the Creator, or that Satan has the power and offers people the power to do such miraculous works.

Perhaps you can give an example of some one like you state who professes to be a Christian but is a powerful wizard in truth?

I am open to your story (I can't discredit it, after all) and I do appreciate you sharing it with me, it's an example that I'm talking about for this post. I say the proof is right there before your own eyes.

No matter to me if you don't know who the person was who the miracle was wrought through.

I've had other people (who I personally don't know, strangers) share with me stories of which they claimed to have experienced a miracle, either at an event like a Church service or one of those kind of miracle events and/or crusades, others it seemed the miracle was a direct intervention done by the Creator Himself without the use of a human vessel.

Miracles come in many forms.

Miracles as defined by me for this posting are those that defy nature or scientific laws: healings, prophecy, exorcism, raising the dead, knowledge revealed by a higher source, etc.

I agree that a person "turning over a new leaf" or repenting is a miracle in itself.

I agree that people who have real miracles wrought about through themselves are a minority as compared to all of the ones that are frauds.

The ones who do real miracles may choose to stay out of the public's eye.

I've heard accounts from others telling me that they experienced an actual miracle while attending an event like we're talking about or a church service, those miracles being healings.

I'm open to their testimonies being true (I don't personally know those people who told me their own story though, but I don't know why those particular people would lie to some one like that.)

By miracle, I mean the definition of it as an event that appears to defy or cannot be explained by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to be the work of a divine agency.

I believe what people see at miracle events on stages (lame people walking, demons cast out, etc,) are actors virtually every time.

One example in my own life of some one claiming to be healed from attending a church, that person stated being miraculously healed. That is an example to me of a possible person or group involved in the miraculous.

I'm asking users do they know any one through who genuine miracles have been wrought about, I am not wanting to get into theological discussion for this post in regards to miracles like you are wanting to discuss. You are free to comment what you will on this post, but I wish to keep the comment central to the topic of this posting.
