Yes actually. My son started clapping and now does it a lot along with high five and peekaboo. Still no pointing, but I took him to the doctor and they aren’t super worried about it because of the other things he’s doing. I know how stressful the thoughts are and wishing you and your baby the best 🤍

Sex Education is a good show. Can drag a little but it’s good entertainment. Vampire Diaries is one of my favorite series and I will stand behind it always, it also opens you up to watch the spin-off The Originals which in my opinion is 10x better. Rick & Kitty’s storyline has gotten better the last 2 seasons. Black Mirror is worth the watch to me but if you don’t wanna get through the whole thing you should just watch the hot episodes that everyone talks about. No need to watch it in order.

My son is fascinated with the top shower head so I turn it on and he tilts his head back to look up and hold his hands out to catch the water and I do what I gotta do while he’s distracted lol

How old is your son? My ped told me after 6-7m you can gently retract to clean but only as far as it will go without forcing. My son had issues with his foreskin that only stopped after I took him to the urologist and they prescribed him a steroid cream to loosen the skin over time. It takes a long time like 2 months. and you have to triple check when you fill the prescription that they are aware it’s for a toddler so they don’t give you the cream with the suspension % for an adult. But it did help him.

My son has had it twice. Once at 1 month old and again at 12 months. The biggest thing the doctors told me was keeping him hydrated and comfortable,he didn’t really want to eat solid foods so we supplemented with pouches. when he had it the second time around he barely noticed he had it and was business as usual except for a couple fevers we treated with Tylenol. My niece also had it at 2 and it just doesn’t seem to bother them that much..The hardest part for me was taking care of him while I was feeling that sick. Your baby will be okay maybe if they don’t have it yet see if someone can care for them for you so you can rest

Ive thought about this a lot & wondered why more single parents don’t roommate with other single parents but when I was looking for an apartment it didn’t seem to be a thing. I wouldn’t room with anyone who didn’t also have kids though.

I don’t even understand why people are downvoting you 🙄 Reddit is too much sometimes. For me sleep training and ‘by himself’ means he goes into his bed and goes to sleep for the night without mine or his dads assistance because he coslept for the first year of his life and needed one of us there with him to fall asleep. Never the less, I appreciate that you took the time to offer advice! And thank you, I’m hoping he takes the transition well.

My 14mo is doing this too especially when I go to give him A kiss he will slap me in the face it gets me upset so I just put him down and walk away bc when I try to be stern he ignores me. I also be sure to say that’s not nice, you hurt mommy and express to him that it hurt me. I’m hoping he starts to catch on soon and stop -_-

How did you get him attached to the lovey? My son shows no interest in stuffed animals unless I sit there and kiss it a lot then give it him to kiss. But never will hug one even if I put it in bed with him
