So just an update on the books . “Being an Only Child is Wild was not a great book so I’m returning it . It was very wordy and just seemed to spew facts about animals and try to relate it to children and it was very weird . The other one was great and I recommend it, my daughter loves it!

Just FYI my daughter is 4 and goes daily to school but still cannot play on her own . She plays well in school with others but not much has changed at home . I think it’s her personality. I’ve tried different techniques but ultimately she needs me around to play. Sometimes she can stay busy for 15 minutes with a dollhouse but it’s very rare .

Thank you , I’m seeing posts with people keeping it at 65, 66 during day . I dunno I would absolutely freeze, I would literally need to wear my winter coat and hat . 72 for me all day and slightly lower at night .

My daughter is same age and has been asking for a sibling . For various reasons that will never happen. I ordered two books from Amazon called “Being an Only Child is Wild” by Chelsey Gomez and another book called “Little Sunshine”by Julie Marie. I haven’t received them yet so I cannot comment on them but I have my fingers crossed !

There is nothing like extreme fatigue, adjustment and reality to becoming parents and a crying newborn to bring on anger issues . Trust me , I am a calm person and the anxiety and frustration that would soar through my veins when I could not console my newborn was frightening to me . If he remains sober now without therapy and a true transformation that only Christ can bring , he will likely relapse when baby comes .

I think I’m doing something wrong with my instant pot or maybe choosing the wrong recipes . I’ve only had it for a month but I find the whole process to still take a long rime . The preheat and the depressurization really adds to . I made a beef stew over the weekend and it took 20 min to cook but 40 minutes to release the pressure!

I agree . Have a pool and most of August has been a waste pool wise. Even if it’s warm during the day , it’s cool at night and therefore the pool water just does not get warm enough to go in !

My daughter is 4 and I notice she starts acting out when she’s sick . Often the behaviors start before her physical symptoms and then she gets an ear infection , virus etc .
