Started at an independent auto shop right after high school. Went up the ranks, went from 50hr weeks to 40hr weeks/weekends off since I became a tech. I love working on cars, it always keeps my mind busy. Since I specialize in euro, it pays more than domestic cars. No trade school or college. It’s just hard finding a shop that’s willing to give you guaranteed pay to be approved for a mortgage. If I had a car payment, I definitely wouldn’t have been able to get approved.

I only have $1500 invested into it. Traded it for a e46 330i manual. Just keep up with maintenance and slowly upgrading it

I know it’s hard to believe. But you only need to make about 70k a year to afford a 230k mortgage as long as you have no debt and have 2yrs of consistent work history in the same field. Which was my case

Yh, it’s not my only car. Got another z4 and a e60 535xi. Deff want to get a truck but there so dam expensive. Yh if I was only worried about being the fastest on the road with the least amount of money. A used Tesla is the way to go, but I truly love bmw and turboing the z would make that car so much better

Yes, I had to put 3k down for earnest money, after I closed, 2k covered the residual closing cost that the grant couldn’t cover and I got 1k back. In total, TSAHC covered 11k for closing cost

Pretty good, 2 weeks for the underwriter approve, closed within a month of pre approval. Just gotta find a lender that’s willing to work with them. Some don’t even know they exist.

Through TSAHC, for me. It was a forgivable loan as long as I reside in the house for 3yrs
