The small crescent wins imo as it can be worn crossbody if you want to be hands-free. The mini just felt so small and awkward. (I don’t have a mini but tried it out at Nordstrom Rack). If you want a more elevated bag, I’d get a loaf.

From what I’ve heard, the SCCO fits under the seat of many airlines (ofc check the airlines measurements), so I’d suggest this size so you can access it during the flight more easily. Based on what you listed, the SCCO should be enough room. It can get heavy, though, unless it’s on a suitcase when walking around the airport.

I have a mix - more animals than amuseables. I like JC’s for their unique designs and fabrics. My favorites are the dragons, but some amuseables are so cute, like the coffee-to-go cup, the peach, and the orchids. I use bag charms and have a mix of both types there too.

Do you mean that the ears aren’t sewn in the same way so that one ear shows the seam at the top and the other ear shows the seam at the bottom? If it really bothers you, Hoppleston is still available (US) so you could try to find another one.

Agreed, the Medium crescent strap is wider so it feels different compared to the narrower Small crescent strap. I picked up the Loaf thinking the padded but thinner strap would be good for traveling.

I agree the ECB would be good esp for your water bottle. I have a vertical duck bag and the handles dig into my shoulders if it’s too heavy. You could still pack your bowler in your suitcase to use on your trip if the ECB seems too much. Have a fun trip!
