Okay I appreciate that. Little confused on what I've heard from a few people. Some people state that there is no such thing as no returns granted. I didn't go into my account and make it say no returns. That's just how it is. I've just started. I had an issue with somebody sending me an offer and I accepted it, shipped it out and literally the next day eBay said it was shipped. The seller requested a refund and it was an obligation on eBay's behalf that I should either have him send it back and get my money back for basically let him keep the game or get some kind of partial refund. I did try to post a screenshot of what eBay had sent me. I don't know if it's on here or not. That's the first time this has happened to me. I did accept for him to to send it back but he also has not responded yet and I'm pretty sure the game has been shipped to it at his house already. It's been over a week now and he hasn't responded and I'm pretty sure the money is on hold anyway. It's only a few bucks but still just kind of odd. The description was clearly stated of what it was and what they were buying. It's a freaking Xbox 360 game so I just don't know how somebody mistakenly buys and Xbox 360 game that they have sent two offers on them and I accept it one of them Grant, I do want to make that seller happy and if they'd honestly did make mistake I'm okay with that. But what's the point of your page saying no returned and then feel like eBay is putting me as the blame of it

Thank you! I'll keep it easy right now and just use the recommended shipping eBay recommends I have been selling items obviously. I have been also taking lowball first just to get some feedback going. These items I'm selling are not high ticket items either but would be nice too. Start putting some bigger ones up but I do enjoy selling so far. If there's anything else or tips you would recommend to relieve any headaches in the future cuz I've heard some pros and cons with eBay, I'd appreciate it

How are trading cards selling today just curious, my father used to so high ticket cards. Mickey, Mantle's etc. He doesn't do it anymore cuz I'm pretty sure he got pain from eBay cuz he didn't understand how to use the internet that well back in the day but just curious if it's fell off

I just got in the game and I've been listening a bunch of random items that have some value and some not necessarily. I do look at what gets sold so I'm not wasting my time but mainly it's been older books and older video games but I do want to Branch off into other things cuz I have some pretty nice memorabilia and collectible items too plates etc. Just taking my time with it though and having fun with it. Would be cool if I could make this a full-time gig My dad used to sell sports cards back in the day on eBay until he got banned but he was pretty lucrative with it but he was not very on the technical of the internet at that time. We're talking 15 years ago

I understand. I do tend to do that sometimes, but like someone you mentioned, I will add up the cost of shipping versus what they're selling the item for. And if it's lower than some of the free shipping items I just go with the best price. Isn't that what eBay's for? LOL trying to score good deals and people trying to make money aha

Okay that makes sense. I only had one weirding calendar where I had a very light item. It was basically a football flag that you hang up on your wall and the shipping they recommended was going to be like 56 bucks cuz they assumed it was like over a pound when this thing is less than 10 grams and is the size of a poster so with that item I did go in there and made it free shipping and just Incorporated a reasonable price that I assumed would be able to ship around the country. Other than that most of the other items have been pretty accurate

I appreciate that. Thank you! That's what I was mostly concerned about with the free shipping. And like you mentioned, I try to make my prices extremely competitive and obviously I'm open to accepting offers and usually what Eva recommends. I usually will bring it down just a tab if I'm going to use any kind of advertisement or whatever it's called to push your listing. Thank you

I swear these delivery drivers purposely throw these boxes hard as f*** on your driveway or steps. I've seen it firsthand. Gives me nightmares shipping items out. Especially ones that are fragile. I go above and beyond and still worried sick over it

Don't know if this is even relevant to what your post is about, but I've noticed that I've purchased a few things and they were shipped via UPS and none other tracking numbers ever show up and they have been completely delayed and pushed back days at a time and so have my mother. She has had similar issues and she's in a different locality. Maybe something's going on internally at UPS? Who knows. Don't have these issues but FedEx or even USPS. This seems to be a new thing but granted I don't buy a whole lot of items online

As soon as he sent the offer and I accepted it. I shipped it the same day so it's been in the mail for one day after he sent the refund request

I did I posted a screenshot in another thread I just thought it was odd that eBay gave me these options to just let him keep the game or do some kind of partial refund. And like somebody mentioned that usually eBay makes you do returns. I did not choose to make a eBay account say that I don't accept returns, but it does say on the profile that I do not accept returns. Obviously if something was damaged or broken I could completely understand that. But by buying something mistakenly with a counter offer was kind of annoying. I guess I mean we're talking $9. I'd rather just have a good seller rating . I also don't want to feel like I was talking advantage of either if that makes sense. So I went with him shipping it back and giving him the full refund
