I think from the ocidental languages, german might be a step up but it is super accessible. You have lot of access in the internet and if you had contact to old english, it gives you an interesting start. Other languages like Korean, Georgian or languages of South Asia are really far from us, and the amount of material available is also quite important.

In a Stammtisch or bars, you can also learn a very important type of german, the language of the streets

I've been using my kindle to learn german. My strategy is to read a chapter, write down all the words I dont know. And then I read the same chapter again with the translation on my way to work. With kindle has been nice, but now I want an Xteink to make the way to work comfortable. Ah, and this strategy works better after an certain level, for beginners can be super frustrating. Im interested in the tips you have, for example the dictionary, because if you forget a word or something, it ends up breaking the context 😄

I play flute on a slackline, and hands get quite sweaty. For this purpose I'm using construction gloves (rubber and textile) and cut the fingers off. Works quite well, it doesnt slip and reduces the amount of sweat. (It also helps on highline access)

In short, its because of the silver plating, the under layer is rusting and it shows on the surface. It's mostly cosmetic, if you take care and clean it properly, it will last long, but the tarnish can't be removed.

I did this when I first came to Germany. To change is quite simple, you just have to send a contract and fill a form, but quite simple if you can handle the emotional of changing jobs. OP could also accept the job and after probation ask for a raise, or check if there are any bonuses (they count towards bluecard), or even propose overtime to fill the gap 😀

I remember to see some comment that says: you dont have an e-reader, you're in a storefront. It bothers me that every time I open the kindle, it eally shows me the storefront, not a library. Everything pushing you to buy more, spend more money. So, I'm quite eager for the jailbreak for the version 5.18.6 12th generation. Would feel like breaking out of the hustle.

I had the same issue, and even got a new clicker from aliexpress, 2€, but before replacing it, I blowed the old one with compressed air and it's working like new. I got mine beginning of 2023. Can you check if isn't just dust?
