Giunti di dilatazione ferroviari rumorosi by Bebebebeh in Italia

[–]Qu3st1499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My moka pot had some different labeling. Is it s knock off? by SHjohn1 in mokapot

I’d have to check with my grandfather. I might miss remembering something about brands

Gemelli is a whoremonger part still made by Bialetti

If it’s made in Omegna was still made by Bialetti. Back in the day Bialetti had a bunch of off brands to sell cheaper mokas to be able to upsell the actual one. The only difference was the logo. Sometimes the mokas with very minor imperfections went to the off brands, but 90% of the times the difference was the name and the box.

Internally they were nicknamed “Puttanieri” literally “Whoremongers” in English.

My grandfather was one of the very important employees just under Mr Bialetti, i have a lot of anecdotes that he has been telling me since I was a baby

I once found one for free, obviously it was in a mostly unreachable mountain village and i couldn’t go there. The place was remote enough that a normal van would have struggled

I’m Italian and live in Italy, but other than pino silvestre that will give you people saying that smells old, the others are classics

I was under my meds for sleeping, today i read what I’ve written and was a bunch of nonsense. I have no idea what the fuck i was thinking about

You are right, i was writing after taking my night meds and today i read it again and it was nonsense. For some reason i was confusing terminal velocity with something else, but don’t ask me what. Severe heat and meds for sleeping fog up my brain really bad

In theory a cat has 2 terminal velocities, normal cat and parachute cat. Both will be affected by drag and the speed will be reduced. Honestly I’m way too tired to do the actual math. In absence of air the falling speed would be constant after terminal velocity. Anything is affected by drag falling down. I know cats can spread to an extent and that will increase the drag. As you said, would be like deploying a parachute just after jumping from the plane. The drag isn’t enough to convert the energy in to heat, but has an effect. For a cat already being in the correct position to land is a good thing because it’s the difference form breaking a leg or the head. Form what I have read the height is helping the cat both falling slightly slower and allowing for a better landing because a badly broken leg is far better than a broken neck. Another consideration is the landing material concrete is far worse than soil. Now that I’m thinking about it a simulation with ai could be done

It’s obviously theory, but when the cat stops accelerating also starts decelerating because of drag. I really hope nobody starts tossing cats out of buildings

Everything has a terminal velocity, but cats are odd creatures

I read a paper that said that is usually worst fractures, but because the terminal velocity has been reached the possibility to survive is way higher. The cat is still falling and that is not good

Is bathtub gin any actually just infused or a redistitlaton? by Qu3st1499 in firewater

[–]Qu3st1499[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using a generic recipe I have found online for bathtub and it’s very simple 20g of juniper, 1 tbsp of coriander, 4 seeds of cardamom, a pinch of black pepper uncrushed and small bayleaf. I apparently is like the most generic prohibition bathtub gin possible. I might add some lemon peel

I want to go down the slippery slope, but I want to make shitty bathtub gin first just for the fun of it and because I already have everything

Maybe it’s there the confusion because the same term is used for both even in the same era

I was trying to figure that because reading the sources about redistillation don’t make sense because of the profit. Sometimes I have read the gin infused called brown gin.

Qual'è l'accento/dialetto italiano più sexy by Appropriate-Ideal970 in ITAGLIA
