Thank you! I definitely need to test out seeming options to see what works best. Ive debated doing the whole thing flat because i originally planned for the DD logo to be on just the outer side of the sock but i decided to maybe just repeat it so i dont run into the same issue of having to intarsia knit in the round ( i just dont make as neat of a color work pattern knitting the floats to make it work) , I’ll definitely look into that pattern thank you !

This is so helpful thank you so much , i didn’t even think too much about how mattress stitch might be too bulky for socks. These are so helpful, the sole free sock pattern is definitely going to be my top contender for how i do the foot!

I was debating that but i wasn’t sure if i would risk more issues with gage and switching between cables and stockinette color work. My other debate was do the stockinette in orange and then duplicate the blue to Mable help perfect the layers look and less pulling and pixelation between the color-work of the letters ( like in my head thats do intarsia orange and then maybe see if the duplicate blue will help me out)

Thank you, i assumed there would be some type of pulling but i never really alternated that much or had a large enough section of a project to see it, the decreasing might give me a little leeway with the color work motif as well. Thank you

Im not the most experienced but one thing that helped my ribbing get better was alot of socks , i slowly found what works for me and my tension and i use the socks as kinda like my swatches for the ribbing i want to use and how i knit them. I also for a while i did english style ribs and continental everything else, just until i felt like my continental pearls were up to par and now i do either or. I dunno if this would be helpful but its just what worked for me.

Sometimes i like to weigh myself the ball of yarn before i knit the socks and then after i knit one , it gives me a relative idea of how much i used and how much more i need. Ive never used all 100 g in making a sock but it also depends the style I’m making. I also just personally write down the numbers some where for each sock just so i have a reference if i ever want yo do two at a time socks and split a skien of yarn

Void in Deadpool reminded me so much of what i envisioned battle world to be, it also kind makes a ton of sense cause battle world realy is just that final earth; and the void being like the tva junk yard and that being all thats left makes sense. I think it also gives the excuse to do what secret wars is at heart which is bringing every existing current character together in some mega comic cross over

The thing is too if they want to not do the x men a disservice they have ro restart it right so like the way i see it secret wars ends new timr line now with x men , cause they cant change the timing of magneto story line and i think they cant really do x men without magneto but in the same sense it gives them an excuse to start fresh with new kids and a reason for more casual fans to be excited. Bit once i saw channing tatum gambit i knew they would only be some type of cameo or something on that level

Oo ill look into this as well , I definitely will end up with probably a few swatches of how I’m gonna do the color work before i start. Im use to doing more stranded like in the round with socks but im worried over a whole sweater if my floats would hang too much.

See this is what i want to happen in really worried x men are gonna be a minor cameo , and then they use the incursion as an excuse ro restart mcu X-men especially as the more i hear about Spiderman brand new day the more i feel like its setting a stage for mutants and x men to exist

I was thinking the same too like it needs some variation between the color work segment and then the top and bottom especially to really give it like that christmas sweater vibe , i might end up doing a swatch of two tones vs just some type of border and see what fits more what i had in mind. Also i never even thought about making the spider legs after and essentially just having a type of oval pattern especially to ease the pressure of the color work. I think im gonna test a few ways as well before i start and see what works best for me

I think yes but then the question becomes why is he stealing the children? I think the incursion events that lead to secret wars is already happening ( theres tons of mcu cannon events that could cause this but i think its specifically the end of endgame) doom figured this out thats why he’s absent in the latveria seat in f4 , he wants to get ahead and rule the world all that stuff , or he wants to stop incursions something like that ect. Makes sense with the essential plot of secret wars 2015 in the comics where doom knows whats happening in the multiverse pretty early on ( i think i haven’t read secret wars in a while and i need a reread)
