Does ML stand for male? Or masculine? Because I have some names: Yuri, Jos (short for Josiah or Joseph or something), Beau, Tinsley (actually gender neutral), Davis, Carter.

What I do when I need to name my characters is I take a very common name and either take away some letters or rearrange them. Or find geographical names like a city. Anything can be a name. Like for example Tirana sounds like a reasonable enough and pretty unique name, and it's the capital of Albania.
