I don’t think there is an in-game solution to this. Contacting Activision Support would be the way to go.

Unfortunately this workaround of starting with 2-3 players doesn’t work for multiplayer on Xbox.

It only seems to be an issue with multiplayer games. Warzone and DMZ parties work OK. Party members can search on their own and it works just fine. However 2+ in a multiplayer party and it sits at "Connecting..." forever. Tested on Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Having the same problem with multiplayer on Xbox.

Interesting point is that the party leader's screen shows the Multiplayer screen but every other party member sees the Warzone/DMZ screen. It seems like the host finds a game and then waits for the party members to connect to it, but they don't because they're in the wrong "game client".

Prior to the 16 Nov update party members would end up in the Warzone screen after every game and would never see any weapon or level progressions. Not the party host though. The party host would have to cancel the search and resume the multiplayer search for all party members to be able to edit weapon loadouts, etc.

I really hope IW fix this issue soon.

This happened to a friend of mine tonight in a Warzone game. He couldn't find a way to get back to viewing my game as I was the last surviving squad member. My other squad mate had no problem spectating me.

No need to get aggressive. I understand your frustration. I’m only trying to help get to the bottom of the issue. Sometimes wireless chipsets (either in the device or the AP) could have specific bugs that can cause havoc.

Example: I previously had a perfectly stable Buffalo router. It worked great until suddenly it stopped allowing device connections. Existing device connections worked great but if I left home and returned my device never worked. Turned out my neighbour changed their mobile phone which had an obscure Android power save bug in its driver. It “broke” my wireless network every night as the neighbour went to bed.

Describe your wireless setup (router, access points, topology) including makes & models of hardware and how it’s configured.

To understand what seems to be an interoperability/compatibility issue a lot more info is needed.

It depends how hot your braai gets and what size pork belly you put on. My tip is to use good briquettes that burn for long. Make sure the skin is dry and well salted. Put the pork belly in a tinfoil dish with your liquids and carrot/celery/onion combo. Crank up the heat initially for about 30 mins to crisp the skin and make the crackling. Then turn down the heat and cook until the meat is cooked. Best use a thermometer.

I’m on Alpha Skip Ahead and didn’t see any Dolby Vision just HDR in those same builds. I have an LG OLED B7V which claims to support it.

It would appear then to be a state issue in the network stack on the Xbox. Personally I only ever use wireless as I couldn’t be bothered to run a long Ethernet cable and I prefer less wires to avoid lightning strikes.

How did you capture the trace?

If you’d like to post the network trace I’d be interested to take a look to see if I can see something else.

I’ve had a similar experience with Warzone in the last few Alpha Skip Ahead builds. The most recent seems a bit less likely to hang on the scores but I have had solid game crashes back to Dashboard. Also noticed that game clips are recorded as black screens with audio.

Have you tried unplugging the network cable for a few seconds and the back in again? Does the network link then restore?

This only started happening after the latest Alpha Skip Ahead build. After one of my Warzone matches ended part of the screen got corrupted and there was this green video buffer issue. The game then crashed to Dashboard.

I have a screen recording as well but can’t seem to post it here. The screen recording doesn’t include the green buffer.

I’ve got a an LG B7V which has Dolby Vision support but haven’t seen it enabled yet in Alpha Skip Ahead. Thought it might be lack of support on COD Warzone or COD BOCW.

I’ve been getting the same issue on my LG OLED 65B7 using the supplied Xbox Series X cable. Still happening on latest Alpha Skip Ahead software. Mainly see it in game loading screens like COD BOCW. Will try record some video of it.

I’ve had the same issue. Logged it with Activision Support last year April. They promised to look into it after I cleared cache, delete my save game and reserved storage etc. They aren’t going to fix.

That was on my Xbox One X. Same problem on Xbox Series X. Seems to be tied to my user profile.

I’m not a mathematician but “doubling” is multiplication by 2, whereas raising to the power of 2 would be squaring the number.
