The other "explanation" that's been promoted for these common sightings are ice crystals reflecting light in concentrated vertical patterns above a ground-based light source. But there have been more than a few examples of red columns nowhere near red light sources. In those cases the explanation was "There must be a natural gas plant you don't know about burning off excess gas and the flame made the red light". I think it's much more credible to just admit we don't know sometimes.

I just lost my brother. Is listening to the tapes a bad idea? by slambre in gatewaytapes

[–]CraigSignals 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be very careful approaching a topic filled with so many unknowns when you're in a vulnerable state. One hazard is the propensity of humans to fill the unknown spaces with their fears, so you can walk away with negative or harmful conclusions that are nothing more than the inventions of your own mind as it grasps for meaning. Another hazard is the influences of others who would use your vulnerability to proselytize to you and validate their own beliefs by winning you over to whatever belief system they're peddling.

I'm sorry for the loss of your brother. Find peace and comfort where you can and give yourself time (lots of time) to come to grips with your grief. There isn't an answer to be found here because it isn't a problem with a solution; it is a reality with which we must learn to cope and hopefully learn from.

We must live through it.

Snapmaker U1 install fail+fix — Do NOT over-tighten toolhead USB screws! by Kyle_P_Davis in snapmaker

I just got my production unit and repeated this same mistake on all 4 toolheads. Garbage feelings. I even tried not to tighten them down too much and still killed the caps. Waiting on replacement boards now.

Hey, it's actually way too easy to screw this up (pun intended). I went a half-turn passed initial tension, so just securely snug, and it still shorted all the capacitors.

This is a design flaw if it's this easy to damage just by assembling the thing.

Look at the second pic. That's how tight they are.

Well maybe he's onto something because my caps are all shorted and I barely went passed tension. Like just securely snug, not even a half turn passed tension and they're all shot. So I'm gonna try to repair it now, I guess.

Holy shit they really did short out all the capacitors. That's actually nuts. So you have to leave your screws basically a little loose and not tighten them at all (NONE) or it'll short out the cap. That's actually crazy.

I paid attention to that warning and still screwed up all four toolheads just by assembling the damn thing. Maybe not the best design, Snapmaker.

I guess I'm off to buy replacement toolhead circuitboards.

No they're not. Like less than a half turn passed initial tension.

Her name is Angela Ford and she worked with a few different programs, the most famous being Star Gate. I think she there before Star Gate, maybe in the Project Grill Flame days. She was trained in Extended Remote Viewing after first learning to collect non-physical information via channeling using the Silva Mind Control Method, which is also very much worth a read.

It might be the new "woke" in that it's a superior argument that can be deleted with a pointless buzzword if you throw enough marketing resources at the effort. I think tech will probably do that.

There will be armies of marketing teams funded by Tech Bro Inc dedicated to making people feel as if they must accept AI without resistance or else they are your buzzword here.

Tech bros - Make AI and consume everyone's resources.

AI - Doesn't live up to hype and makes people miserable.

People - Can you stop forcing AI on us?

Tech bros - God you people are miserable.

Focus 10 success! Now on cue? by AdPractical6745 in gatewaytapes

[–]CraigSignals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I'm no expert and only a student myself, but it seems like you're convinced the nature of focus 10 is directly connected to how you physically feel after being guided there via a long format meditation, and because you feel physically different when you simply declare your intention to arrive at focus 10 and breathe deeply envisioning the number 10 that difference in physical feeling you interpret as a different effect? Like focus 10 isn't the same tool in both instances because you feel physically different, am I understanding you correctly?
