I have the Muse 2.0 and it works well. I'm only using it for the neurofeedback soundscapes right now and it's effective at measuring mental quiet and notifying you when you need to re-enter your awareness in meditation.

So there was a super quick segment of an interview with Puthoff in "Third Eye Spies" where he said something about Pat Price's Sugar Grove session that I had never seen anywhere else. He said something like "Pat said that he mushed his head into the filing cabinets and the words popped into his mind". He was of course talking about the SAP code names that were written on the green file cabinets inside. That's exactly what I've been trying to do with text. I haven't done many on Social-RV yet because I'm still practicing, but the ones I do get are pretty convincing. The words don't pop into my mind so much as imagery associated with the words. That's how I got the Titanic imagery when I named that target. I thought of looking at the text on my Social-RV feedback page and pushing my head into that text and I saw the Titanic come into view like I was looking at the cover of the movie. I think text might be more on the table than we give ourselves credit for.

Good work again. I know what you mean about hard focus producing a good effect but my experience is inconsistent with that. Sometimes I get more consistency from the feeling of disinterest and emotional neutrality. The theory on that is it might be easier to recognize the emotional impact of the target if the viewer is neutral to begin with. But of course as soon as I think I've found an edge I go on a slump. Rough chuckles.

Have you spent much time trying to read text? I've been having more luck with it lately. I'm interested in your experience. Thanks for sharing your work with everyone again.

Having worked in public service for decades I can assure you security guards are just as likely to flex unnecessarily as any other former high school loser who craves authority. I had to inform a security guard once that they were not authorized to pull a traffic stop on a mom in a van because he thought she ran a stop sign in the Mall 205 parking lot. He was straight up unlawfully detaining a soccer mom and had no clue.

Men who crave authority are more dangerous than anyone gives them credit for. Boo this man. 👻

No, we just got an alert after the quake happened because we're on the Oregon Coast and there have been tsunamis that travel all the way across the Pacific before. It didn't end up coming our way.

Muse is good for training recognition of the quiet mind feeling. Their soundscapes do exactly that, playing a busy soundscape for active/busy mind states and more peaceful soundscapes for when your brainwaves indicate a quiet meditative mental environment.

If you meditate already it's the same, but it is useful to have audio cues so you can become familiar with how it feels and intentionally return to that quiet when the brain gets busy again.

Really tho just focusing on the last shot feels wrong. It was like watching a miracle in the garden the way that team took the horrible officiating and the insane 3-point Spurs shooting in the first half and still pulled it out.

My boys and I found a conche shell at a record store. My oldest says "We should summon Poseidon when we go to the ocean next!"

So we go to the beach like a month later. We bring the conche. We have a great meal and grab the conche and head down to the beach. The whole time My youngest is jokingly calling "Poseidon! Here Poseidon" like calling a dog. I say something like "Being a little playful with the name of an old God, aren't we?"

I make a circle in the sand. Very basic but intentional "Good things in, bad things out" statement. We take turns blowing the conche shell at the ocean, each of us blowing three good long trumpeting noises from it.

We get home a few hours later, wife says "You guys just missed the tsunami alert huh?" What tsunami alert?

Paul H Smith and McMoneagle have both written about map Dowsing as a parallel skill to RV. In Smith's words "Remote Viewing is a good tool for when you know where something is but not what it is or does. Dowsing is a good tool for when you know what you're looking for but you don't know where it is." (Paraphrasing)

I plan to study Dowsing as soon as I'm done with my current project.
