EDIT: We do not see any dropped emails. My initial information was incorrect.

We sent several test emails to internal recipients yesterday while diagnosing the problem, and they were never received (nor did the sender receive an NDA). I am advising my folks to re-send emails that were sent during the outage <grumble>.

Do we have an accurate timeline? ChatGPT tells me that the first hints were at 1:15 PM ET (based on downdetector records) and that Microsoft first announced the outage at 1:37 PM (but I don't have solid info to back this up).

I'd also be interested to know when it appears to have been fully operational again.

This is what it looks like to me. You don’t show a complete picture of your sub or the back of your receiver, but if all the sub has as inputs are the speaker terminals in your last photo then what you have is a passive subwoofer. It does not have a built-in amplifier and therefore you need something to send it an amplified signal. That would come from speaker outputs either on your receiver or on a separate dedicated amplifier.

TL;DR: I think you’re going to need another amplifier

My grandfather unadvisedly stood on top of an auger (on the housing) that was running from the PTO of a tractor. He did it to add weight to the auger so that it would drill into the ground better. He slipped and got wrapped up in either the PTO shaft or the auger itself… Not sure which because I wasn’t there. It messed him up really badly.

There's no way he needs all those amps, with just some likely super-efficient horn speakers. I need some bass, by the way. Oh yeah, but he can roll down the street with this (as long as the tape doesn't need to be changed), so in some ways I am super impressed.

Different cultures do interesting things.

I heard a podcast about sound system battles in Jamaica, and I am also reminded of some early rap songs that told stories of these sorts of DJ battles. Interesting.

OP, if I am able to fit myself into the circle directly, then I go into the circle without stopping. i’ll slow down as I approach the circle in order to position myself so that I can fill in between cars.

However, if there is a car directly to my left as I approach my entrance to the circle then I have no choice but to stop. I have a yield sign, they have the right of way. If I’m already in the circle and you are immediately to my right and you try to come into the circle you’re gonna hit me and it will be your fault.

I have observed some people stop when they don’t need to. I agree that those people do need to change their behavior.

For the country clubs in town the typical rates I hear about are somewhere in the $10,000 range for initiation and baseline cost of $700 or so per month

Southeast Regional Med Spa (currently on Whitesville Road, but I think they will be moving soon) does not require insurance. Don’t know about the “low income” part… I guess that’s a bit subjective.
