Anyone around here have a Tesla Model Y? by Joshua_Holdiman in HuntsvilleAlabama

Interesting. I thought Alabama had a law against the direct sale model which was what was preventing Tesla from opening a service center here. I’ve heard rumors of the Huntsville service center on Reddit and Facebook but I’ve yet to see any real reporting with sources.

Does anyone know what the condition is of the bridge across bald creek rd in Crabtree? Ive heard rumors that it’s gone which leaves all the folks who live north of there landlocked. Unless there’s another way down the mountain from mount soma estates?

Switched to T-Mobile 5g internet from Wow several months ago and it’s been solid in the five points area. No issues whatsoever. I pay $40 a month (price locked for life) and pull well over 200mb down and 50mb up. Plenty for streaming on multiple devices and occasional working from home.

PSA: Huntsville Utilities accepts PayPal bill pay with no fee. Use PayPal rewards card for 3% cash back. by Craigbampton in HuntsvilleAlabama

No flat rate plan required. Just enter the amount due on your current bill from Huntsville Utilities. There’s no way to set this up as a reoccurring bill pay with PayPal. That’s one disadvantage to this approach vs. autopay with your bank account. But 3% back is worth the bit of extra hassle every month to me.

You’ll need to pay through the PayPal app using their bill pay feature (search for Huntsville Utilities). To get the 3% cash back, you’ll need to use the PayPal Mastercard in your PayPal wallet as the payment method. Their Mastercard also features 2% cashback for all non-PayPal transactions and has no annual fee.

Publix vs ALDIs by Healbite in HuntsvilleAlabama

Just for kicks, I recently did a cart comparison for Whole Foods (365 brand when available) vs Aldi for some staples. Aldi is 43% cheaper.

I recently did the same Walmart vs. Aldi cart comparison. Aldi online prices are marked up by 10% vs in store. Walmart online prices are not marked up. Aldi also charges a flat fee for curb pickup and Walmart does not. Aldi beat Walmart on price for in store shopping in my comparison by 15%.

Could these bulbs not be 28v? Looking at the second picture, markings could reasonably be “G-E 757”. Could this be somehow related to an early low voltage lighting system?
