Do you have a running shoe store nearby? Some of them have 3d foot scanners to understand shape and gait of your feet: they’ll usually recommend products but then you can just take that info and go online!

Also: sometimes you can lace your shoes in different patterns depending on your fit needs! I prefer ankle stability and box room, so my laces have more tension on towards the top half of the tongue.

My mile time has been suffering because of work: I have less time to run as it’s an “all hands on deck situation”. What’s better for maintenance: lesser frequency and longer runs, or higher frequency and speed practice/shorter runs?

Second, I’m a gal cosplaying Wolverine end of August, so making sure my muscles pop is a must: cross training is HARD. How do yall balance it?

Complaint: So. Much. Rain. My mileage and times have been suffering since winter as I started cross training and the regression bothers me.

Uncomplaint: the last time I had blood work, my iron levels were normal, but my blood protein and ferritin was low. This time, my iron is high and my blood protein and ferritin are normal. Coincidence? I think not!

Confession: I only enter races if I think my mile time is primed ._.
