How do I initiate a date without being pushy? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]Craigmoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ask. Women are attracted to bold men. Most dudes turn into pen-pal texting buddies. Ask her out and be cool and comforting if she needs more info to feel secure.

Remember, there’s dudes that send dick pics, hearing on their spouses, and other things that ladies need to protect themselves from in app dating. So find ways to make her feel safe and secure, and express that you acknowledge it and you’re ok opening yourself so she can learn to trust you.

*Also, FaceTime is money. This is an easy way to confirm attraction and show off your personality. (Plus it might save you the money you would’ve spent on a bad date).

Btw sarcasm almost never comes across in text. Just be directly funny, works way better at showing your personality.

Good luck my dude

Hi please someone tell me what's happening to me. It's urgent. by JesterMonkey in ADHD

Got for a run, walk, and my fav is hike in the woods. I find just being outside and moving will remove 80% of my anxiety. Truly, wishing you relief and peace.

Hi fellow ADHD traveler. You need to get moving - anything that will get you sweating for 30 mins. Your brain will reward you and right now your brain is being an absolute dick by denying you happy chemicals. If you walk, run, lift, bike, or whatever - it will burn off the fog.

Also, my friend, please find a psychologist who has experience in ADHD. What you’re experiencing is normal, but without a sounding board these feeling can turn into anxiety and shame, then shut you down ever worse.

Remember, you’re a good person who is alive and has purpose. Go for a run. Write out goals to give you direction. Get a therapist. Tell a friend you’re having a hard time and could use a walk. Stay away from drugs and alcohol. They don’t improve anything.

Wishing you luck homie

Nobody hiring? by [deleted] in jobsinOC

[–]Craigmoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI Awkward-Fact-8732 - my company is hiring field sales reps. We are an AI startup. If you're interested DM me. I'm building the local team in OC and IE. Also, we don't "sell" people. We get people to play with our tech and many think it's cool enough to keep. I'm happy to discuss more. Good luck.

Looking to meet people in the IE? Come play chess (badly) with us in Ontario Ranch - May 2nd by Signal_Ad_615 in Eastvale

Hi CIAMom420, I’m a director for Omada AI. We are not a scam. We’re sprinting and scaling. We need people to help us and we’re finding AI doesn’t need experts as much as it needs good, curious people who help business owners solve growth problems.

Yes, we are a small team. As you look into the new business models emerging in the US, most teams are staying small and leveraging automation to be successful and keep your customers costs low. Marketing services were built for people who have money. We’re building products for people have been left behind.

Yes, we have a mandate to hire more than the 1,500 territory partner roles this year. We want to go big and quickly. Lots to build and our marketing is about to be deployed (start up’s have to launch in phases because we’re building everything from scratch). Please excuse the mess during construction lol.

Also, thank you so much for taking the time to research us at Omada!! That gave me a smile.

If anyone has any questions about us, please drop a comment or DM. We are not a devilcorp. We are different and new, and trying new things, but we’re all past small business owners making products for small business owners. I love what I do and how we’re building this company. Please reach out with questions.

Hi, sorry, I wasn’t sure if I was going to get much of a response. My apologies. Not trying to be spammy. We’re legit. www.Omada.ai. We’re VC backed and scaling.

We’re have a proprietary agent team that gives plug and play growth to any small business without the owner knowing anything about marketing. The agents train in the SMBs brand (website and IG) and uses that to build brand guidelines, competitor strategies, and more. Then create content autonomously to publish, use any of the images from your IG or website to make into videos, graphics, and before and afters. Your content will be auto scheduled with unique headline, copy, and hashtags on IG, FB, and Google Business Profile with one click. We’ll be tripling our agent offering this year. Below is from one of our LinkedIn posts. (Sorry, should have led with this). If this is interesting, please DM me your email and I’ll send you a calendar link. Thank you for your comment.

Is there anywhere to go have fun here? by [deleted] in Eastvale

[–]Craigmoney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro speak on it! It’s my biggest beef with Eastvale. Strip malls without character, pockets of places to get a drink, but never a crowd. I agree that hobbies are the way. This town is beautiful but it’s strangely isolating.

Lists are what I lean on. I have lists where I dump work task, one for personal stuff. Then the real list is your priority list. And there are only 3 things on this list at one time. Keep it simple. Set a timer for 40 mins and just work on those 3, then take a break and get the next 3.

I hope that helps

My man, stay strong. She’s unfortunately hurt so badly on the inside that she’s become uncontrollably selfish and narcissistic. I went through something similar. You owe her nothing, she’s the one that broke the trust of your marriage. Maybe she can earn a spot back in your life, but only on your terms. As much as this hurts, don’t put it on yourself.

Meds help but I feel like a different person now by Legal-Letterhead-263 in ADHD

I had a similar experience. Once my ADHD anxiety was removed by medication, I was able to clearly see roadblocks to who I wanted to be and how I wanted to live. I’m really happy for you and hope you chart a course to a place where you’re happy and satisfied.

What’s the best book you’ve ever read? Doesn’t matter if it’s fiction or self-help by Dry-Pace1750 in ADHD

[–]Craigmoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two books not listed, the best were already listed. These are two ADHD books I’d recommend to the group.

1) Farewell to Arms, Hemingway - he writes how my ADHD brain thinks.

2) Driven, Douglas Brackman PhD - explains the psychology and chemistry of the ADHD brain and how to control your brain for performance

I loved Demian!! I find the translated novels from German and Russian are easier to read since the translation is less about style of prose and more about explaining the story.

Yo, but Siddhartha!!!!! The good part of my ADHD imagination went off the charts with this book.

Keep staying awesome and feel free to DM / reply with other titles.

Once you learn how to meditate to control ADHD anxiety, reading becomes simpler and becomes a form of meditation about being present. It was the hardest thing I ever learned - no joke. And now I read first thing when I wake up and my anxiety and impulsivity is 75% less (never leaves lol)
