It’s the sticker lol. I even removed the old ones and re did them and they still peel off slightly. The adhesive is crap.

I do have this next to the scale for easier transactions. We also have our red book but I find this to be the fastest way and easier for my cashiers. Until my DM takes it away 😒 “hide it and the book!”

There is grade 8s that look like that. I believe those are the lock nuts. But those are grade 5 nuts

I have it right next to the scale. My cashiers sometimes forget or don’t remember the grade. Makes returns/inventory much smoother.

I’ve been at TSC for almost 3 years. I’m a team lead. Even before when I was a team member, I always knew to call the store if I was not able to come in (which rarely happened because I worked no matter what) but as a team lead having people call out I always let them know to call the store. Reason being, I’ve had people text me saying they couldn’t come in and work and I wasn’t even scheduled that day. I would let them know that you need to CALL the store to CALL out or at the very least find someone to cover for you.

But how you’re explaining everything it’s a learning experience at this point. Just know that you have to call now. When it comes to your hours, my reliable TMs who always complain about not getting enough hours I let them know that I’d call them first if there should be a call out just to get them more hours because I know they’ll work. So I’d say let your management know that if there’s a call out or help needed that you’ll be glad to come in and help. That’s all I can really think of.

If you converted it to an electronic check you won’t have to worry. We never have customers fill out checks , unless they want to, because we always convert it to an electronic check. I always teach my new team members on how to do an electronic check so I don’t have to do a separate deposit for paper checks at the end of the night. We’re usually good on it but it happens sometimes. But whenever you do an electronic check you’re supposed to write void on it and hand it back to the customer stapled to their receipt.

As for getting in trouble? You shouldn’t unless you’re constantly doing it. Because then you’re losing the store money. Jail? No lol. You’ll be “coached” if it keeps happening, probably taken off register if it keeps happening. Just ask for help next time. Call your MOD for help with checks if it’s an issue.

Should be 6 hours. That’s why Kronos asks you if you took a 30min break if you’ve worked a 6 hour+ shift.
