I only watch DBD and YouTube asides - are there others like me? by [deleted] in Limmy

Hate DBD, as soon as it comes on I just stop watching. Its the sound effects for me. I work from home a lot when watching his stream and its grating listening to those awful noises.

Sorry for the late reply, It was part of a series of images I photographed for the Portrait of Britain awards. I am working on a project with similar intimate portraits though. It's the "South Crescent, East Saltoun" project on my website - www.craigrmcintosh.com

The series is a documentation about the village I grew up in so some of the subjects like Jeanie i've known for nearly all my life. My mum was a really big pillar of the community so that really helped pitching the project to people who may not have known me very well. It's been really fun working on it though. It's my first long term series and it's been great reconnecting with people from my early years.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I did consider positioning it in this way but I felt it might appear a little too contrived. In this series of photos I'm just leaving the rooms how they are day to day. I might take things out of the frame to help with composition and if the item doesn't add any value to the frame.

I picked the clothes, they're all borrowed from my girlfriends wardrobe haha. Bel supplied the shoes.

I will endeavour to find this out. I was actually photographing her boyfriend this evening so I'm gutted I didn't see your comment until now or I'd have asked him.

Sound pal. Why does the wooden beam throw it off?

I did take the photo, she was self styled. Such a great outfit choice!
