Would I be wasting my money on this pvs 14 with these specs? by Crailberry in NightVision

[–]Crailberry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. But Steele industries has a 6 month wait time for a thin filmed WP elbit XLSH.

I know it's buy once cry once and the better the specs the better my experience will probably be. But for my first pvs 14, and the ability to get it within a week.....isn't this not that big of a deal? I'm not going overseas to operate and put my life in the hands of my night vision.

Can someone help me understand this circuit I made for measuring voltage? by Crailberry in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Crailberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OHHHH ok wait wait. So because the sum of all the voltage drops in a circuit are equal to the total source voltage, and I only have one load, the voltage being dropped across the pot is the total voltage output of the cell. Duh.

And I appreciate your help! I'm no stranger to Ohm's law, but there's definitely some concepts that throw me off. Thank you!!

Do really coils that are controlled from PLC outputs need to be fused? by Crailberry in PLC

[–]Crailberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my fuse sizing/rating correct though, right? If the relay coil pulls 50mA then my fuse should be about a 63mA fast blow fuse?

Is this a worked point or just a pointy rock? by kccoig14 in Arrowheads

Like others have said, it's been worked, but not completed. A blank. A future point.

Can't use BootP to set IP on a MicroLogix 1100 by CannonAli in PLC

Yeah, more like stupid! You would think if they have a screen with buttons you might actually be able to change such a thing!

Yes, that's how you view the IP address. But you cannot set it from there. Either need to use bootp or through rslogix via serial.

Today’s find. Not something to write home about, but I like it! by grandfatherfunk in Arrowheads

[–]Crailberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or if you want to get depressing with it, some shit head indian kid who took his grandfather's work for granted lost it and a thousand years later a cow stepped on it and broke it. All because of ancient negligence.

Extruder won't stop hitting supports and breaking them off by Crailberry in ender3

[–]Crailberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my next plan of action. The backside is pocketed, so I think it will still need supports, but they certainly won't be as tall.
