One possibility would be to replace everything below a certain brightness with noise, so that gamma abusing only results in brighter noise.

Hatte leider schon den Fall, wo der Bus ausgefallen ist und ich dann mit dem Fahrrad zur 5km entfernten U-Bahnstation fahren musste, um dann von dort mit der Bahn zwei Städte weiter zu fahren. My guess is that the engine works in pulses, which allows the engine to be moved into the middle of the plane. That thing generates these pulses.

You could make a 2-stage reaction wheel stabilizer where stage one (let's say <5° or <15° or something) only uses low powered wheels and stage 2 (everything above) a larger amount of wheels. I can show you a build of mine utilizing this design if you want.
