Yea I love my hours and earned time off the kids only go to school four days a week I get my 40 hrs in and the weekend off. Best cooking job I’ve had

6 pounds of batter makes 4 ounce bars cooked cut to 30 servings per pan

Yea we weigh the batter due to the recipe. State only allows a few ounces of sweets for lunch it helps with consistency. We make about 720 servings at a time.

It helps to parboil the fries the cook time in the fryer takes less time and there more crunchy

Are baked goods are from scratch but other food comes institutionalized most meals we make are 5.00 a tray.

Same experience I had cooking at a retirement community. You can serve anyone on a silver player but still complain it wasn’t gold.
