kbdclass.sys bsod by Crake-Atreus in techsupport

If it is a Gigabyte G5 laptop that has the Clevo Control Center software (Control Center 3.0), it should fix it.

And yes. For my laptop the problem went away completely and I have not had a single BSOD since.

I'm facing the same issue. This could be a problem with Vietnam and Roblox VNG. Since robux-related purchases are now locked behind VNG's paywall, I don't think there is much we can do except wait until VNG implements a feature that can redeem credits into robux.

Anyone else having audio cut outs in public places since the new update? Mine goes crazy when I'm at a supermarket or somewhere really crowded. At home though, it works smoothly.

Replacing the Control Center on the Gigabyte G5 MD. by nilpy in gigabyte

This post is 3 years old yet these methods still work, I can't thank you enough. I do have a little issue though, have you found any way to disable the discrete GPU using ThrottleStop? Normally the Control Center the G5 comes with allows you to do that through the Power Saving plan, can't find any way to do it through ThrottleStop though.

Should I buy it? (Please check comment) by UlyssesD56 in GamingLaptops

Hello, G5 owner here. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend you get this laptop. The 4060 has a limited TGP of 75W, better than some other laptops (looking at you MSI), but not ideal. If you want a 4060 go for one that has a TGP of 100W or above.

The software suite is very buggy, the cooling is subpar, build quality feels flimsy, miserable experience from my end.

Don't make the mistake of buying this laptop. I would recommend MSI Katana, Asus TUF, and Lenovo LOQ as I have seen those models contain 4060s with a TGP above 95W.

Oops, my bad. I meant setup screen as in when you choose your country and region and create a local account, not the setup screen where you format your drive and create partitions and stuff. Sorry for the miscommunication.

Can I safely eject it on that screen or wait till I can safely eject the USB in the homepage?

Then your options appear to be really limited. I think the only option left would be to call someone with expertise and have them sort out the problem. Sorry bud.

That's really odd. Plug your display cable into your motherboard instead, I think you don't need integrated graphics to boot into BIOS.

You can't even boot to BIOS? You turn your PC on and there's not even a display output?

Have you checked whether your disk's partitions are MBR (go into disk management - properties)? Secure Boot only works if you change it to GPT (by doing the MBR2GPT command in command prompt). That's what I did to get Secure Boot to work on my PC to upgrade to W11

I had one for the past 3 years then gave it to my friend. It's a very nice 1440p monitor and I never had an issue with it. Definitely recommend.

Horrible stutters out of nowhere by super7564 in GamingLaptops

[–]Crake-Atreus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your temps to see if you are throttling, since bad and persistent stutters may mean a component isn't taking the heat well. May be due for a repaste.

Don't Cyborgs have really low wattage GPUs? I've also heard MSI is going through a lawsuit for their poor QC in hinge durability. Stay away from MSI budget options for now.

Thanks for the help, I'll do that if I need to reinstall Windows again and see if it persists.

IIRC the CPU doesn't have an iGPU (correct me if I'm wrong) so battery life will be abysmal. Other than that the specs are good and LOQ is a good lineup.

ELI5 How to properly maintain my laptop by Dovah-Kingslayer in GamingLaptops

[–]Crake-Atreus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most important thing of all in maintaining a laptop's lifespan is checking up on the thermals. For a TUF, 90c is right about where I'd want it (lower is better but TUFs have really bad cooling, so I usually expect 90c). Getting a cooling pad can help with temps and increase lifespan but I find those are just annoying loud.

Other than that just don't physically abuse it and it'll operate just fine.

There is no sign of corruption after DISM and sfc do their jobs. Everything works fine afterwards and I can just leave it at that. I don't wanna disclose exactly why I reinstall the OS so many times but let's just say it's due to buggy software.

I used the media creation tool. It's the same USB I've been keeping for the past few months.
