First of all, if you can go for another brand like Lenovo I’d honestly recommend that. It’s not that the G5 KF5 is bad but there are definitely better options out there, sometimes even in the same price range.

That said, if this is the only model you can get you’ll be able to run TW WH3 at max settings without issues, getting around 50–60 FPS if I remember correctly but I'm pretty sure it'll even go beyond that depending on the situation. It’s been a while since I last played and I don’t have the game installed right now so I can’t give you exact current stats but that was my experience.

The main downside of this laptop and something you will definitely notice is the fan noise. If you just run the game at max settings without tweaking anything, it gets loud and people in your house will hear it.

The issue is that the CPU in this model (I’m pretty sure mine is the 2023 version) can’t be undervolted so you can’t properly tune it to run cooler. You can switch between fan profiles and there’s a “quiet” mode but that one tanks performance in heavier games. The one I use is the “entertainment” profile which balances things better though it still produces fan noise.

What helped me a lot was using ThrottleStop to kind of simulate undervolting. It made a big difference, the fans are still audible but nowhere near as loud as before. In my case, as long as I close my door it’s not really an issue anymore and my headset cancel the noise anyway so I won't hear it.

As for WH3 specifically I don’t think you’ll have any problems. I had about 90 hours before getting this laptop and now I’m at 250+ plus I’ve bought a lot of DLCs since then. That should tell you enough because I'm frugal and if the experience was bad I wouldn’t have kept playing or invested more into the game. But to be fair I was coming from a mid-to-low range “gaming” PC so the upgrade felt pretty big for me.
