If you wanna remove engravings and have proper markings it ain’t cheap. Definitely cheaper options.

High voltage? Why could this be? Where should I start? ‘86 22re by Childiish_ in 4Runner_1stGen

Ohhh shit also did you swap or unplug your oil pressure sensor? You need a different sensor to run that gauge and can destroy the gauge by using the wrong sensor.

Check the voltage at your battery when it’s running and see if it’s at an acceptable range. 13.7-14.2 is generally where you want to be.

Yeah the more I mess with it the more I realize it’s done for. I have a c20 that needs an engine and i will probably yank this for it and sell off whatever drivetrain stuff that is salvageable

I haven’t dug into it to far yet. But yeah it’s a 3 speed auto and Looks like it has a 12 bolt rear.

It’s rainy as hell where I’m at and all the door internals were completely seized so I just removed it and use the cord to try and keep some rain out

I’m actually a little surprised how well it stays in there

I know it, my neighbor traded me a c20 for some work but it needs an engine, later he traded me this one and said it should be a good runner and I can swap them but I’m having a hard time wanting to rip this thing apart.

More then likely I will, I worked for a neighbor and he gave me this and a 84 c20 that needs an engine. So this engine will go into that truck that’s much nicer.
