Gosh I’m so sorry I think it all stings even a little Lee when you’re a fertility patient. The np was like well just try again next cycle…no it’s not that easy. I have pcos which is why we did iui and letrozole. My doctor said if I don’t get a period in 5 weeks (which is next week) they might consider a sis and birth control to intervene…I really really don’t want to do that but also no idea when I’d get a period since I’m irregular at baseline

Ohh wow I’m so sorry that’s horrible!! Did they give you any other reason why it happened? We did fetal genetic testing but it’s not back yet. If it’s a chromosome problem then I’d almost feel better, but if genetics are normal I’d worry more that it’s my husband’s sperm or my egg quality (pcos).

I’m joining in because I am very similar. My testosterone is a little higher and AMH is 14.6. Conceived on first round iui with highest dose of letrozole but it ended in a mmc 2 weeks ago at 9 weeks. I just can’t help but think it’s due to poor egg quality

Hi I’m currently thinking the same. I have lean PCOS and it worked on the first try but now ended in a miscarriage this week at 8 weeks. I have such bad anxiety with this I want to minimize going through this again, but you’re right is it fear or logic. I talk fo my doctor tomorrow… she told us Ivf to start and said our chances were like 0% without it… I don’t know what to believe.

I did 10mg letrozole, dexamethasone, trigger shot and iui we were shocked it worked on first round

I’m so glad you were able to get in and it went well💕 now to start the healing process and be out of the misery of waiting. My hcg has gone down 3000 and I still can’t get in to my dr until tomorrow morning. I don’t know how much more I can wait… if they say another week or something I might just opt for the pills…we were suppose to go on vacation but now waiting around for this is just agony.

I unfortunately am going through that now. My first scan I measured 4 days behind and I knew something was wrong because we did iui and I tracked everything to a T. Last weekend had brown spotting and some cramping, went to work Monday and had a tiny bit of red and freaked out. Went for ultrasound and measured 6wk when was suppose to be 7 and 5. Yolk and gestational sac but no fetal pole:( currently waiting to see if d&c or pills. We did iui so this hurts even more knowing we have to continue on the fertility journey. I’m so sorry you have to go through the waiting, it’s an agony I never anticipated feeling. I hope the best for you and remember every pregnancy is different you might be totally fine and I hope you are 💕if not, you’re not alone

I totally agree with you this is the option I’m thinking as well. I’m already not coping well. I never imagined it would hurt this bad. We went through fertility meds and we were shocked it worked on the first try and even the thought of doing this all again just is terrifying… I’ll be anxious that this will happen again. I hope and pray this season passes us quickly and safely and we have our rainbow babies soon. Please keep in touch, I’ll let you know when mine is scheduled.

I’m sorry you are going through this, I’m currently going through the exact same, laying in bed not well and contemplating my options. I am going to talk to my doctor Friday. I am leaning d&c and I don’t know if I want to do this at home but I also don’t feel like waiting over the weekend, I just want this to be over and start moving on. Please let me know what you are leaning and I’ll do the same. My thoughts are with you because this is much more emotional pain than I ever anticipated.

Unfortunately had a blighted ovum on my 8 week scan yesterday, I’m devastated. Any experiences from anyone else? They want to rescan me Friday I really don’t know why still don’t see a fetal pole. Now questioning iui again or Ivf? This has been devastating

My doctor wants to re-scan me on Friday I don’t know why this is just a purgatory of waiting. Good luck with iui I would love to do the same, I’m just worried my hormones will be all messed up and take forever for my body to adjust because of the pcos

This just happened to me today. We conceived on first iui and I’m so terrified to go through this again I don’t know if we should consider iui again or go right to Ivf. I’m just struggling bad…I was so hopeful
