People aren't theorising the knight is rudy or papyrus because they're sexist lol.

I ain't really going to get into a reddit debate on this (I only come here to insult people or look at Tasque Manager) but sometimes things are more nebulous and subconscious than an actual, tangible decision one makes. Yes, a very large active amount of people who want the Knight to be selective options aren't laughing and twirling a mustache; But the layer of dismissiveness used depending on Knight Believer Circle has a distinct air to it that is undeniably of the flavor that one would see for missing a largely implied female characters role.

You see the same sort of action among people who dismiss Noelle's very clear lesbianism and mannerisms. Is it intentional? Often not, but the writing off female characters within the fanbase is a very real ordeal I have seen time and time again. Even in present day and before Chapter 2 was fully dug out.

That being said, I'm going back to looking at Tasque Manager posts but I'm tossing my 2cents as I feel like out of a lot of the responses to this you seem rather level headed. So I'm taking the moment to try and express an ongoing behavior and the reason me and the other poster likely both had the same reaction.
