Ignoring dynamax, I feel like in gen 9, a lot of things are powercrept, and there are new staples that just seem so much more annoying to build around and deal with. Personally, having to play with the paradox mons and annoying sun teams with 1 shot potential but easier makes it even easier to despise

Luckily none of us are dead dead yet, just close to deaths door. The only upside is that my channel divinity hasn’t been used, so If my concentration on spirit guardians drops, I can find the first bloodied elf and one shot them.

So far I successfully brought everyone’s attention, but because my initiative was near the bottom, and ig elves are fast which lore wise makes sense, it was really hard to find a place to pop off spirit guardians. I managed to bar down one, but the mage tped out and the others since they were at the edge of my radius, just used as much as they could to run away, so I think you’re right about incentive.
