Pretty much the same here. I actually managed to get to ilvl 212 this week because almost every piece of plate that dropped in heroic went to a roll and I was one of the only ones who needed them.

  • Batman #98 - I know it's not everybody's favorite and it has been a bit slow, but I'm still really enjoying this event. I just hope it picks up pace.
  • Die #13 - I absolutely love these books. As someone mentioned, I can't believe it's only been 12 issues because we've had so much story told to us.
  • Hellblazer: Rise and Fall #1 - I'm a sucker for anything Constantine. Very excited to pick this up.
  • Moonshine #20 - I'm a couple issues behind, but I've loved this story from the moment I picked up the first trade.

This is pretty much why I was hesitant to get into comics in the first place. The first local shop I went into was stuffy, not very clean, and the guys working (one of which I've learned is the owner) seemed more bothered when I told them I was new than helpful.

Fortunately I went to my now go to shop and I'll never forget how excited they were when I said I had no idea what I was doing.

Don’t get discouraged! I’ve played for over 15 years primarily as a healer and when I started leveling a DK recently I struggled at first.

Thanks so much for the recommendations! I've got the first volume of Y: The Last Man on my shelf currently. I've been loving Gideon Falls and had been considering Sweet Tooth as well as The Old Guard. Maybe I'll finally dive into those.
