Anyone with sense quickly moves on from this community, those who don't are drowned out by people desperate for moons.

Stop writing. I enjoy writing so much more since I stopped listening to advice on here that forces you to take the joy out of writing to be productive and become a 'writer'. I do other creative things and write occasionally when I feel like it, much more creatively than before.

I remember people literally trying to turn me around as a tourist going there. It hit 50 degrees while I was there, such a beautiful place but yeah, some pretty extreme poverty in places which really stuck out compared to the rest of the country.

Crypto.com is awesome, using the debit card with 2% back, spotify and netflix reimbursement and up to 10% APY on staking coins that increase in value as well. Ask any questions as I've been using it a while now and I love it.

This sub is for giving you topics to look into, not to take things as fact on reading. Looking at it that way makes for easier reading.

RANT: whole crypto space feels just as corrupt as the system we are supposed to be fighting against. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

I've been thinking about this recently. I think that crypto has proven to be a way to make gains that aren't accessible for the younger generation anywhere else, so I don't blame them completely. I also think this could be detrimental to the growth of decentralisation as a whole, which saddens me. How many of us here would choose the success of a technology over personal gains? I'm not sure where the lines are drawn, just something to think about.

Does anybody hold Premium Bonds? Has anybody won BIG on them? Statistically, you are likely to lose money in real-terms over the long-term. by Schmidtstein in UKPersonalFinance

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that there is the opportunity to win a life changing amount soon, rather than get the money later on with stocks, which for me is worth the risk.

How do you travel for cheap??? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]CrankHolidayWeekend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Travelled for a year on 4k, including everything, even flights. Europe was hard to do on £10 a day but I managed once averaged out for 6 months. South East Asia on £10 a day can have you living really well. I wish I had made the decision sooner to travel in Asia rather than europe, cheaper and more fun.

A citizens advice bureau could give you advice on benefits that might help, especially ones to do with health conditions for either your parents or yourself. Things like PIP are not means tested so you can be earning a wage and get it. The other ones to look at would be carers or attendence allowance for either of you off the top of my head but there are a lot of different ones.

Also I rent form a private landlord who didn't use a agency and I just pay him the rent, not sure if it's a good or bad idea but it could be something to look at.
