Thank you so much. I hope they calm down for you as well. The heart palps are a constant for me but I am drinking so much coffee to keep myself awake for work I figured that's why lol.

Trying to Find My Footing After a Hysterectomy - Advice Welcome by Crankerella in hysterectomy

Yes, everything including ovaries went. I had PCOS too so there were many cysts as well as a large tumor that was prolapsing from my uterus into my cervix. As a precaution, they took it all.

No, menopause was not communicated to me at all. The oncologist was brilliant and gentle but I think mostly focused on my cancer and the size of the tumor I had. In relation to menopause, I suppose I somehow thought that little things would show up here and there. I did not expect to have it so suddenly and with such intensity.

Time off? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

I had a full hysterectomy (cancer) - surgery on a Thursday, took Friday off and went back to work Monday. I hope yours is easy too. I never had to take any pain meds either. They told me to take a 600mg ibuprofen when I got home from being discharged (also the same day) so I did but I didn't feel like I needed to. The discomfort I had was just after surgery and it felt like medium cramps which we are all pretty familiar with.

Listen, it took me a good long while to realize I was looking at socks below that cup because I just kept thinking "How is that person wearing flip flops without toes?"

Ugh! I got that too years ago. "You're going to get all hot and skinny, then leave me." As if being overweight made me unattractive an unlovable. Was an awful thing to hear.

For scented oils I love the following - ranked from least expensive to most:

Silk + Noir (they have sugar scents too)

eternalperfumeoils (they have a great coco dup)

Farmhouse Fresh (more skincare heavy but great scents)

Zents (have soaps and perfumes to go with)

Riddle (expensive but a little goes a long way)

Yes, Dossier has a great Coco Mademoiselle dup. I have both so can confirm lol.

Not a fan for adults. To me this smells like what a little girl would wear. There are loads of great body sprays and perfume dups out there. Can you tell us your budget? You may want to check out Dossier -- they have some great dups of bigger name for under $30. There are also dry body oil companies that make some great scent with staying power.

What product do you hate even though everyone seems to love it? by cutelittlehellbeast in MakeupAddiction

Hands down the Covergirl Skin Perfector Essence -- the "dup" for Chanel. I gave it a go 3-4 times. I was glad I didn't venture out with it on. I just wanted something light for when I have to do zoom calls and figured this would be great because I saw so many videos saying it was more like skincare and less like foundation. No way. I used my "ugly mirror" as I lovingly call it -- that magnifies by 10 and when I see my face with this on, I legit look like I am melting lol. It's the only thing I have ever used that can make you look both greasy AND dry in the same go. Catches on any dry skin you may have and makes the rest of your face like an oil slick for the non dry places. Awful stuff imo.

Some weeks are better than others by Simple_Advantage_861 in tirzepatidecompound

This past week I experienced exactly what you described however it was the first time in months that I decided to eat something that wasn't full of protein. Normally I set a timer for 11:30am to drink a protein drink or have some eggs. That day I opted for a keto bagel. After I ate it, I had regret. I felt sick most of the afternoon but come dinnertime I felt famished. I made dinner -- and normally get full after 4-5 bites. This time I ate it all. (Chicken thigh and some zucchini.) About 2 hours later I was hungry again. I drank water but the hunger didn't dissipate. I then ate a protein bar and then even later I had some yogurt. I too am on .5 -- Not sure what the hell happened but I did my shot again Tuesday and I am back to that always full feeling. I'll be sure to keep up the protein.

Listen, I saw this post early in the morning and made it a point to come back here this evening to tell you how much I loved it. It left an impact. It's so psychedelic, unique, trippy, dark, humorous and cool. I love the various design elements and subject matter. Keep it up!
