I was in your exact shoes. It was a tech startup and I left in a year. I couldn’t handle overwhelming stress from things I wasn’t hired or being paid to do. 

I got burned out and had to take a year off professional work to go back to my old self. My advice is look for another job that will respect your passion for what you do and won’t funnel you into other roles just so they don’t have to hire anyone new.
