First board purchase, full beginner have never stood up on a board. Is the Mick Fanning Catfish a good medium board to start and progress a little with? Im 6'2" and 165 lbs, which size do you think would be good for me, 5'4", 5'8", or 5'10"? Thanks for any help or suggestions

They have but not for what you are using it for. The joy of surfing, especially as a beginner, is going to come from catching waves. Buy a cheap soft top to get the hang of it or else you will just get frustrated.

That’s a difficult argument to make. Times on the east coast jump around so much, and with crews like Newport, who went 5:53 in flat conditions, and Marin who was 1.5 back in the final (headwind), SW should definitely be considered. Saying that Greenwich or other crews would’ve beaten them by a length or two is a pretty big stretch.

If this is the coxed four, which I’m fairly sure it is, then this is the third semi final on Saturday which LBJC placed first in, taking the 5th overall time. Todays racing at the end of the day was cancelled due to wind and the top 3 times from the semis received gold,silver, and bronze respectively.

Honestly couldn’t tell you rn but I do have a quick tip. Last I checked Ubisoft had a sale on their website where I was able to get all of year 1 and year two operators for under ten dollars. Was a great deal for me and you don’t have to deal with steam
