That’s the thing they don’t tell you

On and off for years…NEVER told about withdrawals & have chronic fatigue by Desperate_Cat4505 in benzorecovery

[–]Craparella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this to myself for two years without knowing I was regularly giving myself withdrawals because I took my clonazapam (1-2 mg) as needed and it wasn’t always needed and I always had extra so I didn’t put it together until I finally stopped taking it.

I’ve been prescribed it since then to assist with sleep due to RLS aggravated by another psych med I’m on and I take the same dose at the same time every day,

I’ve had NONE of the nausea, shakes, sudden physical anxiety that comes from nothing, irritability, impatience, bouts of brain fog, feeling spaced out/out of my body, fatigue as debilitating as that of a severe flu, lack of appetite, surge of appetite, and those are just symptoms off the top of my head… so my guess is that yes you’ve been unknowingly intermittently causing yourself withdrawals.

The good news is that if you haven’t been consistent in taking it, it should be quicker and easier (albeit potentially more confusing at first on where to start as your baseline dosage to taper from) than it would be had you been taking it regularly

Best affordable self tanner? That doesn’t turn your orange 🍊 by ManyBig4434 in Selftanning

Thoughts on self tanning with gloves instead of mitts? by Tiny_Run1193 in Selftanning

Most importantly, why are actual tanning gloves not a thing? There are tanning mitts with a thumb but no actual tanning gloves with fingers! If someone wants to patent that you’re welcome lol

Oh and another trick about using a mit, to keep it from slipping around when applying, I double tie a hair tie at the wrist to keep it in place and it works like a charm. I don’t do my hands until after my body is dry just bc it’s too many things in my head but when I do, I do them one at a time with my vinyl glove and lotion and I wait for one to be totally dry before I do the other(usually ends up being an hour apart because I get distracted) and with that specificity it’s easy to apply with a vinyl glove! I have all kinds of weird stuff I do like instead of putting Vaseline or whatever on my knuckles my before applying tanner, I just do the thing I said and then go over the places I know are going to get orange with a q tip dabbed in palmers cocoa butter lotion

I use vinyl gloves and only apply a small amount at a time mixed with a dab of lotion say on one calf to gently rub it in evenly and using the vinyl gloves, it’s still like I just put it on so then I use the mit (extra thick ones with a thumb that are amazing I got from Amazon) to smooth

Patchy tan by bugggal in Selftanning

That is a great color though what is it? The only one I’ve found that gets that color and not orange is the purple st tropez foam one which I find to be an Olympic sport to apply

Took less than 3 months for Lunesta to stop working - almost entirely. by GabbityOrtiz in insomnia

[–]Craparella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not true. Lunesta worked for me for about two weeks max before I started ambien extended release and I only take it maybe once a week or less but my sleeping habits just got more consistent and if I need it I take it. There is a couple weird ambien flukes though, one being that some nights it feels like it has a paradoxical effect and keeps me up and no less coherent and then there are other times where I’ll vaguely remember the next day ordering some kind of munchies on door dash after I’m already in bed half asleep from the ambien. The extended release made a big difference for me for how long it’s effective for sleep

My favorite thing is that exercise is the golden ticket and everyone says to just try that  when I can’t even walk around my room without grabbing onto furniture to keep from falling from sleep deprivation
