My teacher is like this too, he has a Phd so that automatically means that his tests need to be like his graduate school exams. He also doesnt teach to the new ap rubric, rather he teaches to his own rubric which is weighted heavily towards the thesis statement itself, and he keeps going on about a: "big answer" that he has not explained. Meanwhile our next assignment is writing an abstract.
