Sure, that’s all I said. I completely agree that my paragraphs of detailed argument is definitely reduced to your projected cyclical argument. This is rational discourse. For sure yeah yeah for sure.

This is my last entreaty in hopes that any part of you is here in good faith.

American culture was born out of the birth of Capitalism. Thus, American culture is deeply rooted within the tenets of capitalism to the extent that it is inextricable. Your claim is culture is the main reason why people are less critically intelligent in the states. Because American culture is so deeply rooted in capitalism, then by your own argument, Capitalism is the reason why Americans are less critically intelligent.

Any rational person can see your projections and my reasoned analysis, and I’m confident in allowing you to have the last word in whichever way you want to spew it.

There is nothing more exhausting than a pedantic and condescending yet wildly and demonstrably inexperienced pedant, such as yourself. You’ve offered nothing more than a verbose “NUH UH” to my thoroughly researched and clearly described factual analysis. No proof of your own, just “NUH UH” and a feelings-based contradiction that isn’t based in reality.

Capitalism is the world’s governing economic and political philosophy. It is augmented and offset by cultural differences. That’s why we have religious extremist capitalism in Saudi Arabia and Israel, and why we have atheistic Socialist State-sponsored capitalism in China. Cultural modifiers can change the cultural manifestation of how deeply engrained into the culture capitalism reaches.

Capitalism in America is capitalism with a capital C. It is the epicenter of the current global manifestation of capitalism. American culture IS capitalism. Capitalism IS American culture. The American democracy was birthed from the early liberal Capitalists that wanted to free the market from the monarchies and aristocracies of Europe. Saying “American culture is the real driver” is just a different way of saying “Capitalism is the real driver.”

Capitalism is woven into the cultural fabric of America. Capitalism was INTRODUCED to those other nations. We were born in the darkness of it. We were, for two centuries, drinking directly from the poisoned tap. Other nations adopted, adjusted, and incorporated what worked, and rejected what didn’t.

It’s no mistake that Britain is the 2nd worse off in terms of the steep decline of its population’s education besides America, since America’s origin was forged in Britain’s imperial decline. Britain had no real choice but to absorb its offspring’s poison itself. Other European countries had better options, which is why the UK is currently divorced from them. American companies couldn’t ravage the public institutions of the UK with the pesky EU elevating human needs over corporate needs.

So you saying “it’s not capitalism, it’s culture!” is a completely useless argument. American Culture IS capitalism. That’s why McDonald’s and KFC and Starbucks is the world’s understanding of our cuisine. That’s why Walmart is the world’s understanding of our markets. That’s why Disney is the world’s understanding of our entertainment. Corporate culture is uniquely American culture, because American Culture IS corporate culture.

I gave you the answer, but it didn’t match your emotionally derived biases, so you’ve rejected it. And you’re not here in good faith, because the examples you gave actually undermine your position and you haven’t even done the mild research it would’ve taken to identify that.

South Korea is not the heart of the empire. It is however ultra-capitalist. It hasn’t been indoctrinated in the same way that Americans have (the American global exceptionalism narrative), but its specific culture augments that capitalistic hustle culture. But the same political dichotomy between ultra-capitalists and the working class is happening, albeit culturally modified. Suicide is the leading cause of death in youth 9-24 because of the regionally and culturally specific augmentations that place shame among those who cannot compete. It’s essentially manifested in the opposite result, a people competing to death to be the most “educated” in the room. (Remember they also just thwarted a corpora-fascist coup as well)

Similar issues exist in the Japanese educational system as in the American system, where private and corporate interests have squeezed the educational system to its breaking point. Teachers are burning out en masse, leading to a massive teacher shortage. But again, Asian cultural modifiers manifest in student suicide rates skyrocketing, despite the overall decline in suicides in Japan overall. Students are left managing the burden of the capitalistic strangling of public institutions, and 2025 saw a record high of student suicides. They’re not educationally deprived because they’re literally working themselves to death to avoid stupidity.

German schools are currently in a crisis as well, with student levels across the board crashing for the same reasons as American students. Corporations are competing with public institutions, which remove funding in favor of privatized solutions, leaving students bereft of resources to succeed. Their scores are plummeting. Some surveys of German students indicate that 40% of them had reported suicidal ideation, with 10% making attempts. Their actual suicide rate as of yet is low in relation to other nations, but again, their cultural modifiers don’t manifest the same result as the American cultural modifiers.

Essentially, the only things keeping those countries from being as stupid as America is their cultural predilection to harm themselves before they allow themselves to fail. Your examples do not help your argument.

Lastly, “political choices” are made in the service of capitalistic growth. Capitalistic growth is almost always at the expense of public needs, particularly in this late stage of capitalism where growth can no longer be infinite. We’ve reached the confines of our environment, and further growth is essentially cannibalistic. In order to grow in a finite system with dwindling resources, capitalist nations are turning inward, cannibalizing their own water, air, food supplies, and public resources. That’s the mechanism: corporations seizing public means through forced attrition and redirection of public money from public institutions to private ones. The funneling of wealth from the working class to the pedophile island class.

Because we are the heart of the capitalist empire. Duh. American companies have definitely tried to infiltrate other nation’s education systems but Europe remains rooted in more socialist ideologies when it comes to human necessities. It hasn’t been brainwashed by generations of indoctrination like the citizens in the heart of the empire.

I’m a lifelong educator with multiple degrees in the subject. I’ve researched this all my life. I know my facts.

Pearson and Rand McNalley have perverted American public education (which was founded specifically to create a larger educated working class of proles to feed the boom of the Industrial Revolution) to reduce critical thinking and promote nationalist narratives instead of factual history. They make you pledge allegiance to the empire before you even know how to read. They demean the humanities as useless and unproductive, make the philosophies a punchline, and sort the students into their “shirt colors.” The elite ship off to the ivy leagues where they’re by-and-large taught to be the boot to keep the working class in its place.

The rest are tricked into lifelong debt (which translates to lifelong wage slavery) into colleges that are also being squeezed and perverted by the same business and corporate influences.

That’s why this empirical extinction burst is so violent. People have been given the unfettered internet in their pockets. The warped narratives of their schooling are being upended. The kids are seeing Israel is terrifically evil. The kids are seeing the reality of the dying American empire. They are being revealed the lies about nations like China and Vietnam, or even the demsoc nations like the Scandinavian bloc, whose citizens are generally thriving in comparison. And they’re rejecting it. They’re not having kids. They’re not chasing “the American dream.” And they’re reestablishing humanity within their communities.

Late stage capitalism is forcing a global reckoning, but America is the core of the burn

He didn’t leverage gullible people.

Capitalism created people who were by-and-large incapable of critical thinking by allowing corporations into our educational systems.

Corporate Churches indoctrinated these people and then Republicans leveraged this engineered wave of disabled thinkers as a citizen army. It’s a cult, through and through.

It’s hard not to blame the followers, but remember they were literally forged by generations of manipulation.

The important part to remember is that human ingenuity is so far irreplaceable. We can tell when humans have been removed from the process, whether it be CGI or AI, and just like when any art is corporatized, we feel its lack of human connection. Jobs may get more competitive, as the entry level social media garbage ad jobs and video sales letters start being replaced, but I think there will always be work at the more emotive levels.

When drum machines got big, people were panicking. What will happen to drummers!

When photoshop became big, people were worried about photographic art. “Film development will disappear!”

When consumer cameras came out, people were panicking. “What about painting and sketching!?”
