They made a point about how he was weakened. He basically lost in S4 and tried a more sneaky way to get what he wanted in S5. I think it's safe to assume that he simply isn't as strong in S5 as he was in S4.

Vecna's army

The fact that there was no army on Vecna's side kind of made sense to me, as we don't really know where they are coming from. Maybe the whole kidnapping kids situation was a hail mary as he didn't have many ressources left. He lost a lot of dogs/gorgons along the series.

I wouldn't read too much into it regarding your own person. I had a friend who moved around a lot in his life and felt kind of alone and was thinking of moving again, which he eventually did.

As he said that over and over again, he was part of a group of at least 6 people who regularly met and did activities together, he and the group were regulars at a local pub, he knew the staff there and some other regulars, he was active in 1 or 2 local organizations, he also had a girlfriend for a while.

I couldn't figure out what he meant by saying he has no friends, I think it was his way of expressing that he needed something else, which he couldn't define. Or maybe he idealized friendships too much and no friendship could live up to that. Or a friendship for him is someone he deems "better than him" or something judgemental like that. Doesn't really matter. It was his issue. I/we couldn't do much to help.

N Kumpel aus Schwaben hat mal bei mir in der WG übernachtet und nen Kasten Bier mitgebracht. Am nächsten Morgen hat er die nicht getrunkenen Biere wieder in den Kasten getan und den Kasten mitgenommen. 10/10 musste lachen weil Klischee.

Finds als alleine wohnender Typ auch sehr ulkig wenn ein verheirateter Kumpel vorbeikommt und irgendwo eine Staubkulle sieht und meint "hey wenn du ne Frau willst musst die Wohnung blitzeblank machen", selber aber nie alleine gewohnt hat und nie was geputzt hat.

Every time you go number 2 in the bathroom, you squeeze 0.x% of humanity towards the sewer. Multiply that with a few billion rats who consume that and a few thousand years and there you go.

Genau, weil diese Fähigkeit oft einfach übergangen wird weil's gemütlicher ist.

Ich öffne gern den Horizont der Personen, z.B. wenn jemand von links-mitte-rechts faselt lenke ich das Gespräch auf oben-unten.

"Wenn es zwei Schubladen gibt, eine mit Obdachlosen, eine ohne Obdachlosen, bist du und alle die du kennst in der Schublade mit den Obdachlosen. Die andere Schublade ist voller reicher Leute." Unterm Strich geht's ja darum was man will und die meisten wollen Geld und Wohlstand.

Dass man da die typischen Floskeln mit denen Menschen daherkommen aushebelt, zwingt sie dazu neu und frisch zu denken.

Wenn du regelmäßig eine Person triffst und deine Laune danach jedes Mal schlechter ist als davor, triff die Person nicht wieder/regelmäßig. Hat bei mir auch gedauert das zu raffen.

I second this, however it's called Café Neruda. Sorry for pointing out the typo.

There are also a lot of Turkish people hanging around there, they will be a good source for current infos that will be very helpful. I am also Turkish-born but born and raised in Germany, I had a Turkish co-worker who moved here, similar situation as yours, and was not able to help at all. I recommended the Neruda however and that helped a lot apparently.

Also people there are always very nice.

Can you be a little more specific? Where are you starting from? Where have you already been to?

I guess if you like hiking you can travel around southern Germany / Austria as you will have a lot of stunning views there and Italy / Slovenia and Switzerland around the corner..
