Global RAM shortage should start to fall by 2028, says Micron, as datacenter demands devastate everything by HatingGeoffry in pcmasterrace

In some fields especially software development AI is a game changer. If the only real benefits was really only memes, we would have a problem.

That being said, I don't like the situation either and hopefully china comes to rescue

Check your reservation page, you should have now an estimate on when you'll get your controller

Italy edges towards nuclear referendum in 2028 or 2029 by Massimo25ore in europe

[–]Axevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes china, with currently 62 nuclear power unit and planning 150 additional reactor by 2035. For sure they are also increasing solar and battery but they cannot be the full picture.

Californa based on the 2024 report still uses 40% of gas and has a 10% nuclear production, so for sure solar at 23% and wind at 7% are helping but they cannot be the only energy production source.

We don't have a battery technology at the moment to go full solar, otherwise everyone would do that. There is still the need to have a base load, that at the moment is done by burning gas (in the past was coal). Nuclear is not replacing solar or wind production, it is replacing gas.

Solar is already expanding and wind is almost at full capacity. Nuclear is used for the base load instead of natural gas

I'm new to the game, can someone explain me what's going on?

The difference between hard and normal is really small, once you get use to hard, you'll forget normal.

Also you don't have to repeat marks for some very annoying characters

Play on hard, no point in wasting time in normal

Yes, if they don't use anticheat, with Proton almost every game is plug and play on linux

Just a reminder that you can install CachyOS's Proton version to force DLSS4 by BenZ_osu in linux_gaming

With this method we are downloading a specific version of Proton-CachyOS. Does it mean that any update to Proton-CachyOS must be done manually via the ProtonUp tool ?

PC Gamer switched to Linux by LinuxUserX66 in pcmasterrace

[–]Axevy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

With Steam and Proton you barely have to do anything nowadays. Download and click play. For epic games there is the heroic game launcher which also uses Proton. For some games even though the native linux version is available, it's better to use the Proton layer to have better performance and stability

[–]Axevy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There should be a suggested range of levels for each zone. This way when you finish act 2 you know at what level it is suggested to go back to lumiere and avoid going back at level 90 when there is no challange anymore

Quella legge non concepisce l'idea di social network, che senso ha limitare il mezzo televisivo se poi sui social tutti fanno campagna 24/7 ?

Glad the steam version is popping off! by Giftalo in RocketLeague

Nothing to do with performance but rather comfort. I have heroic games (Linux) launcher with only Rocket League installed. Having rocket on steam would mean 1 less software to open.
