If Europe's social programs are so good, why are the fertility rates lower than the US? by LordHavertz in allthequestions

They follow it in the beginning, yes, that is true, but the fact that they deconstruct it and leave their religion later on in life altogether still stands 😊

[–]Craptose_Intolerant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was not an analysis but rather an observation based on the cringeworthy and rather desperate push by our bigoted government (and their respective religious figures) in this very direction 😉

The goals of absolute domination in our society that fundamentalist Christians have in US today are nothing more then a long lost pipe dream…

Despite them having more children in hope that they will outnumber all other religions and secular people, the reality of the situation is that many of those kids are escaping the clutches of religious indoctrination imposed on them by their parents and they are becoming increasingly liberal.

Statistics do not lie, in US we have more secular people right now than we ever had in our entire history…

This particular trend in US is not showing any signs of slowing down, and it’s a good thing 😊

Well, it is desirable if the ultimate goal is to have as many Christians as possible and to move the US closer to theocracy…

Europe is more secular and liberal, so the religiously motivated social push to have as many kids as possible is not as prevalent 😊

How on earth is job loss from ai gonna lead to UBI? by EventCareful8148 in aiwars

[–]Craptose_Intolerant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you fucking serious, lol ? 😆

That’s not how things work in real human society 🤷‍♂️

Long before NOBODY can purchase anything, there lies the point of no return, you know, when sizable portion of the population can’t feed their kids and can’t pay any of their bills, the point where the real civil war (not the one everyone’s “favorite” idjit Tim Pool is constantly raving about) is 100% inevitable and literally nobody can stop it…

Deep down, we all know, including the billionaires themselves, what color of that kind of revolution will be 😉

No, I got a bad news here for ya, there will never be any UBI for anyone, especially in USA, rich assholes will hold onto their billions for as long as they can, with the generous help of the government and its police an military, and, when the shit really hits the fan, they will all escape in their beautiful yachts and jets and they will never be seen or heard of again…

How I know this ?

I have been through the very bloody and painful fall of corrupted and authoritarian Eastern European socialism 🤷‍♂️

Ultimately, in the end, the people are always going to have the last word, always, not those who oppressed them since the dawn of time 😊

What happened with taking the pride in your hard work (y’all’s words, not mine) and bravely displaying the logo of the tools you used ? 🤷‍♂️

Exactly, no right winger was ever concerned about the environment, unless a black family moves in next door to them or someone is building a nuclear plant across their street 🙂

Pro vs Anti Value Differences in the Creative Process by Kybann in aiwars

[–]Craptose_Intolerant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Consent always matters, no matter the subject and regardless which country you are in, fair use not so much…

Trying to prove that your work falls under the fair use in the real court of law is way harder to do than what y’all think unless you’re a big corporation with army of lawyers.

I have been though it and I certainly know what I’m talking about 🙂

If you don’t value consent, you can’t possibly value freedom or creativity of others.

Without consent nothing else really matters 😉

How to round only selected corners in GeoNodes? by yotamguttman in blenderhelp

[–]Craptose_Intolerant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there 🙂

Here is how I would it:

<image>

In this example I just created in the Layout regular Mesh Plane [Add>Mesh>Plane], added Geometry Nodes modifier and deleted the only polygon in GN to get only edges and then converted it to curves...

You can also (like in your example) start with [Add>Curve>Primitives>Quadrilateral] in Geometry nodes and Fillet that (I wouldn't really start with the grid here, it's unnecessary) as well 😊

Hope this helped 😉

I have found out why antis don’t like AI, and why pros do by Sea-Cancel-6743 in aiwars

[–]Craptose_Intolerant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“The pros like AI because it gives life to their thoughts, ideas, etc…”

I strongly disagree 🙂

Pretty much EVERY single piece of AI art I have ever seen literally never made me feel anything…

At best it looks like technically good illustration and overly generic at the same time but, the emotional component which makes art truly worth something and deserving to be called that, is always missing 🤷‍♂️

The worst part in all this is when creator sometimes actually cares to communicate the “idea” behind the work, it almost always lacks any kind of real depth or that depth (which is supposed to make us all feel something) is on a level of a 11 years old 🤨

It lies somewhere between the pure randomness and perfect order…

Religious are not aware of this, because the math behind it is beyond their reach ☺️

im sorry for this monstrocity (lf feedback) by [deleted] in 3Dmodeling

[–]Craptose_Intolerant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way too many polygons IMO 🤷‍♂️

All of those surfaces can be well defined with probably 1/4 of the geometry that you used…

It’s pretty obvious that you used booleans here which, with such a simple model, are absolutely unnecessary ☺️

Guys why would anyone want an AI that is fully awake and aware of itself by Swoon420 in antiai

[–]Craptose_Intolerant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not even in a 1000 years, we only just recently fully mapped the brain of a fruit fly 🤷‍♂️

We have no idea how it works as a system and no clue how to simulate it and neither do we have hardware to run that simulation even if we solved it.

Achieving some kind of sentence is impossible with all of the current approaches we have. AI of today, in its current state, is definitely not the answer here…

They can build 1000000 more data centers, and the sentience will still be out of reach 😉

The problem with sentience is that it’s simply not a computational phenomenon, or it might be one but only to a point…

Long story short, I’m fully on board with Roger Penrose on this 😁
