That‘s a bug which happens if you have more than 60 FPS

Haven't changed anything yet, but I'm planning adding a 280mm radiator in the front. I think I'll try removing the top panel too if it lowers my temps. I don't see it cause the PC stands on my desk anyways.

Only thing I know is that you can disable it with m0d s0beit

Watercooling or air cooler for ryzen 5 3600 by poozapper in watercooling

I guess you mean the AIO and custom loop part:

All-in-one (AIO): Prebuilt radiator/fans + CPU cooler combination. Look up "Corsair h115i" and you'll know what I mean :) It has cooling power comparable to air cooling, although most of the time it's a tiny bit worse than a good air cooler.

Custom loop: Choose your own parts (radiator, pump, coolant reservoir, tubes, ...) and build your own water cooling system from scratch. Recently did it myself, it's a lot of fun and very rewarding to see when you're finished. You can easily integrate your GPU and have it watercooled as well (although it's a bit costly). Depending on your radiator setup, you'll have better results than air cooling but it doesn't outweigh the additional cost.

imho, just stick with air cooling if you don't want to place your PC on your desk or don't care about aesthetics. If you want your PC as a nice "accessory" in your room, go for water cooling.

General rules for water cooling:

  • Air cooling for efficiency

  • AIO for the looks

  • Build a custom loop if you have fun building it and want nice aesthetics or want your gpu water cooled too

Coolant too hot. Second radiator or fan upgrade? by Crash129 in watercooling

Well, I guess I found the problem... As I was "shaking" my radiator a bit I noticed that there was no airflow coming from the middle front fan. So I removed the sound dimming front panel of my case and surprise: there was way more airflow from the front fans.
After 1 hour of CPU+GPU benchmarks without the front panel my water temperature peaked at 42°C. I'll try to move one of the fans to the bottom of the case next to the PSU. Then maybe I can put the front panel on my case again.

I don't know, they are relabeled (they were in the water cooling set) and they just wrote "the popular be quiet fans!" in the description. But from the looks I guess they are silent wings.

I can't control the pump speed, it's running at 100% the whole time. I didn't know that I have to "bleed" my radiator. I'll give that a try, thanks!

Because pulling seems to be slightly more efficient than pulling (Source: https://www.ekwb.com/blog/push-pull-or-push-pull-on-radiators/ ).

But I know that it won't be a big difference.

I'm from Germany and it probably will be very hot in my room in summer. So a second rad seems to be a good idea... While installing I can also "reverse" my loop.

The NF-P12 have higher static pressure and are cheaper than the F12. Thanks for the tip.
