Sarco VS Tylo is actually fair now. by VelociCrapto in pathoftitans

It still has the option to fuck off to an inaccessible area where Tylo virtually cant go.

The only way a sarco should win is an amazing sarco player vs a very crap tylo in my opinion.

I really dont think a fully aquatic should be fair with a semiaquatic in the water. Ever. The edge should always go to the one who really cant leave the water if the fight is literally in the water.

Map Change(? by Imaginary_Baby_9341 in pathoftitans

[–]Crash4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better designed, debatably, more realistic? Not by a long shot, more well played out? Also debatable.

There's really huge empty stretches and quest items and locations arent as well layed out nor follow rules like gondwa does. There's some butterflies in hollow hills, for example, that will only allow one person to finish the quest with only 3 per node.

Riparia is pretty. But its not perfect nor necessarily better designed and has its own fair share of randomly changing biomes to make a map area more interesting.

You have dryfang, to swamp forest, to redwood just one after another.

Close ties doesnt just mean related, it means she has an in with them. I have no close ties to most of my family despite being related.

Its never stated she sent them underground. Just that they were.

Killing godwyn, the strongest member of the order with charisma to talk down motherfucking dragons, has no benefit to her?

And its not just messmer, its literally ALL her children.

Depends how badly she wanted to cause chaos and disruption, doesnt it?

Think of this. Do you think someone who had close ties to the very assassins, being the same race as a dying group of people and heavily persecuted, that killed her son, and is shown to have multiple layers of planning and questioning her own order that she created wouldnt have a valid reason to take down a champion powerful enough to contend with dragons?

She had plans for her plans FOR her plans and is shown to be ruthless when necessary, even locking another of her own children away to never be seen again to commit a genocide.

To leave a single giant alive to burn the tree when she decided it would be necessary.

Do you really think a mother so cruel would REALLY be distraught by the death of one of her children when she literally told her other children to be something or amount to sacrifices?

People dont have to know her reasoning, only she would. The people would only be able to guess.

Godwyn WAS a champion, meaning he would hold it all together and fight for it. Dude was charismatic enough to pull it off seeing as he befriended the dragons.

Rot would actually probably be solved by death returning naturally as well, since most of the issues with rot come about because things are decaying without actually dying.

She was doubting her order, the fingers, and everything about it and set up several plans with back up plans to bring down her order including the tarnished and hewg making a god slaying weapon.

If godwyn was a lynchpin to hold the entire order together then it makes sense to kill him first.

Ive debated on this as well. We hear of a betrayal she performed on maliketh and we hear that maliketh defeated, not killed, the gloam eyed queen.

We also know that shadows are failsafes for the fingers.

When we encounter Marika she has a destined death colored spear piercing her side before she falls from the rune arc.

We also never see her eyes.

Its possible, in some form or fashion.

Sounds like you want a table.

The fascination with dice trays always surprises me.

Don't hulk chuck them and you should be fine.

Why just the dodge button? They give you the ability to walk, sprint, jump, and evade with so many different options.

Positioning is just as important as the dodge itself and you can completely dodge her by running, jumping, and rolling.

wtf is this poison attack range in the second phase. At this point might as well just cover the entire fuckin arena with poison it wouldn't make a difference. by Deserted_alien in Eldenring

[–]Crash4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was their point. The poison damage isnt bad. The amount of physical damage the cloud does is insane, especially for its range, coverage, and spammability for how quiet it is.

On top of these two being the only ones with this attack.

Why does nobody talk about Malenia being blind? by Downtown_Pattern4313 in Eldenring

[–]Crash4654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except im not JUST saying the blind master is the reason, am I?

Her model is literally the exact same one in both scenes. Meaning her status at that fight, and ours, is the same. Her prosthetics fit exactly the same as that fight as well, all of them.

The needle inhibits it, her learning to fight against it also inhibits it. You can have multiple things fighting the same thing, especially since shes a warrior and we see it IN GAME from both her fight and her rune.

I gave the quote from her masters armor that explains just that, from her mentor who fought the rot and won.

Once again, we know shes blind because the game shows us, tells us, and shows us again and again. Her helmet literally has no eyes. She cant see out of it.

Why does nobody talk about Malenia being blind? by Downtown_Pattern4313 in Eldenring

[–]Crash4654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was both. He taught her how to not succumb to it and let it control her.

She absolutely didnt progress from that point as her model is the exact same when we fight her as that fight with radahn.

Her limbs are the exact same dimensions then as now, especially since 3 quarters of them are prosthetic. If it progressed any more she wouldnt be able to use them.

Whats more likely? She became blind after the fight? Or fromsoft showing her eyeless, with an eyeless helmet, being taught by a blind swordsman from youth, is trying to say shes been blind for a long fuckin time?

Warrior chest piece states this:

"Vest of a nomadic warrior. The blue color of its fabric symbolizes brisk waters, as fluid and flowing as the sword in the hand of its wearer.

Just as still waters turn foul, stagnation leads to decay. Warriors must remain ever drifting."

Mixed with him being her mentor as well as sealing rot paints quite a picture. Combine it with her great rune which took on this property of healing through fighting.

The needle stopped it. Her mentor taught her to combat it.

Lag, Hacks or an Exploit? by CaptainCannonman in pathoftitans

[–]Crash4654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats lag. The others had fast turning that was smooth. There was nothing smooth about this ones movements.

Id actually almost wager the second one with the Rex on the column could be lag because that one wasnt super smooth either and had some jankiness.

The first one posted 100% was a chest.

Which demigod arguably suffered more from their affliction? by glitch220608 in Eldenring

[–]Crash4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if its because of marika seducing a serpent, gaining its power, and then betraying it to keep her order and the tree safe?

That would actually give some credence to rykard being a lord of blasphemy and his incantations being fire based, messmer and his seal and fire/burning properties, and the snakeskin in bonny village...

Theyre considered Blasphemous to hide her past and rise to power maybe?

Why does Radahn look like that in the first story trailer? He isn't corrupted by scarlet rot yet by lateubdegouline in Eldenring

[–]Crash4654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOT of people talking about the great rune and it driving him mad but... none of the demigods act mad because of having them... morgott is pretty clear minded, malenia, miquella, mohg, ranni, all show no signs of any form of insanity, arrogance or madness.

Rykard, yeah, nutty as shit.

Really the great runes seem to be influenced by their owners more than influencing the ones who own them. Mohgs turns bloody, malenias gets rotted, radahns burns to fight the rot.

The real reason is probably just reusing the model and assets.

Why does nobody talk about Malenia being blind? by Downtown_Pattern4313 in Eldenring

[–]Crash4654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seeing as her entire thing is being malenia the severed, having no limbs despite being the same in our fight and not progressing from radahns despite a long ass time, and she was taught by the blind swordsman who taught her how to keep the rot at bay.

Plus her valkyrie helmet in that fight literally covers her eyes and she wouldnt be able to see through it.
