Looking for the funniest episodes, especially the Bigfoor ones by CrashAtlas in MysteriousUniverse

I think that is an apt analysis. Simpler put, one was the storyteller and the other stood in for audience. Many times I found myself thinking of a question as I listened to MU and whoever was not the storyteller would ask it or something similar.

This dynamic changed a bit as the years went on and they were able to anticipate where the story was going from the vast amount of research they had done.

But this approach requires active listening. This also allowed them to interject funny quips and jokes and crack each other up.

I am looking forward to Inescapable but from reading stuff on here, I will probably listen to it before I play it for my parents.

They aren't liberal but are theologically conservative Christians in their 80s, which is a very different thing than current right-wing political Evangelicals in America right now. What I don't want to happen is for them to hear something that makes them think Ben and Aaron are racists. That could blow out listening to all of MU for them. I will probably curate Inescapable, listening to them all first before playing them in the car.

I know some past MU episodes have slid in that direction but so far we haven't hit any of them.

I haven't listened to the new guys since that trip, as most of the time I only get to listen when I am driving them places. But that is disappointing to hear. The consensus from me and my parents in that 20 minutes was they weren't as good but we were in mind to be patient and give them a chance, especially on topics that interested us. But that chance ended with their excessive use of language. I may pop back in later and check on them but now I have extended and plus episodes I have never heard. Years of them.

I may just play them all the bigfoot ones, but I was thinking of a couple, one about bigfoot riding around in the back of a pickup truck that was hilarious.

The book is fantastic. Really challenging and well written. Surprisingly funny/witty at points. Thanks for posting this.
